what SaJan hav is much much much beyond such minusicle things like 'ek doosre ka faayda uthana' .. they hav gone beyond that ... their relationship is at such a stage that such things really dont matter .. coz HE knows what her limits are .. and SHE knows that HE knows that too! thats why majority of the hugs they hav had uptil now hav been indicated by her ... because she knows him, trusts him, so completely! đł
now coming back to our point ... we wer jus saying that amongst the two of them .. sam is the smartest whereas gunjan is the innocent(est) .. if such a word exists! đđł he knows that he can win her over wit his words .. and somewhere SHE knows it too, but when she is wit him she jus speaks out her heart and mind ... he is the more teasing one, and she is the more serious one .. thats who they are .. and thats who they always wil b!
even during their date, when gunjan was going on abt how they should trust each other n stuff..sam was busy caressing her hands .. thats how he is! and its not like he wasnt listening to her ... he can never do that! but her presence so close to him, the atmosphere .. the occasion, the sheer happiness that she was now HIS .. made him do that .. and he didnt do it because he wanted to 'take advantage' .. he did it because he jus felt like doing it in tht spur of the moment .. he is the impulsive one .. doesnt question his heart wit his mind .. the way gunjan may do at times! u can even see that passion in his eyes .. the way he was looking at her ... but when he realised it was becoming too much for his chashmish ( "samrat please lights jala do" ) .. the entire look of passion in his eyes faded to a smile .. a knowing smile and he let go of her immediately ... and ever since then he has never tried to take advantage of her .. he never wil! and this isnt jus an unspoken thing b/w them .. coz they hav spoken abt it too, in the bus! đł
hey charmee_sammy (sorry, don't know your name), aashi or mads didn't mean this in any wrong way - Samrat is a charmer and he loves Gunjan to bits, and the best thing about him is that in spite of behaving like a child on some occasions, in terms of his love with Gunjan, he has always been very mature and most considerate of her feelings and what she wants - that's the biggest advantage of their love being born of their deep friendship - that he knows her inside-out and knows what she will be comfortable with and what she will not.
But he loves teasing her .. she's a more emotional and serious person and she needs him to lighten up her seriousness and help her laugh - and that's what the whole scene was about on Friday - their making up was so emotional, but he helped lighten it every time it might have gone over the top - first by the 'flood' dialogue - which stopped her tears - after which they got emotional again and spilt out what they had felt so bad about,
then by the "gunjan ke baare mein kabhi nahin sochunga" - because she was so upset that he had called her Gunjan and of all people, he understood exactly why she felt so bad,
and the last - the asking for a kiss - it was again teasing to lighten up the atmosphere - and prevent it from getting it too melodramatic (and ekta-ish đ) ...
so 'mauke ka faayda uthaana' doesn't mean that he was making her do anything she didn't want to do ... because Sammy would NEVER ever do that ... and if she hadn't wanted to kiss him, she wouldn't have - simple as that.
