I feel Guruji's words are true. He mentions to Simi...Two people in a relationship should balance each other. He goes on to say...Ek daayitv nibhate jaata hai aur doosra hak jataye jaata hai. Balance paane ke liye dono karm karne padte hain. Apna daayitv nibhao par jo hak hai woh bhi paakar hi raho. This is the essence of equal responsibilities of man and wife in a relationship which is symbolised in Agni ke phere.
I feel this is what is happening in the show. Simi keeps doing her duties but she is forgetting to ensure her "hak" which is a life for her own with the person she loves. The minute she realises this I think she will be ready for marrying Abhi in spite of the societal inacceptance. Yeah she does need lots of self esteem and selfrespect to be able to fight the societal pressure.
In a way Abhi is also just performing his duties to keep the promise he made to Simi about solving all her problems and he too is being influenced in some way which is preventing him to ensure his "hak" over her.
Well yes it is sad for Abhi cos in the process, he is not living the life of a 22 year old youngster. He is doing all this at the cost of his education, his carefree life. And Simi's words to him is making him work round the clock to keep proving he is not a kid but a mature adult. But yes this is problem number one in such relationships. One has to learn to respect your partner especially in relationships which is unwelcome in the society.
But there is one more angle to the problem. People in love who are wiling to enter matrimony should learn to trust their partners in all sense. Not disclosing to Abhi, the pressure she is going through, Simi is not mature enough. Trust is the foundation for any relationship specially a marriage. This is problem number two. She feels Abhi is impulsive cos he is still young. So then how do you keep your marriage going. There will be umpteen number of issues to face.
The story line anyway is making us think..Are these right things to do.? There may be people who might disagree with me regarding the shift in storyline. But I feel, CV is on the right direction.
What do you all feel?
