Sallu sells painting for Rs. 4.5 crores
Salman Khan's exhibition of paintings which was held in Dubai recently was a runaway success. "It is a well know fact that painting is Salman's greatest passion. He paints whatever catches his fancy and he recently put up his paintings for sale to raise funds for a charitable cause."
The paintings were sold out immediately and the proceeds have been used to fund Salman's Being Human Foundation. His dad, Salim Khan, says, "The paintings helped us raise funds of over Rs.4.5 crores. The money will be used for educational and medical purposes."
Salman Khan's birthday, which fell on Sunday, was a low-key celebration. "As a family, we have always brought in his birthday in a a low key manner. No shor-sharaba, just a quiet dinner," adds Salim Khan.
