"Muski we've been here for so long, and you've rejected every single dress I've tried on!!"

"Ridz that's because you've tried on al l the wrong dresses!"

"Okay Muski what about this one here??"

"Oh Ridz it's beautiful, try it on!

While walking into the lavishly decorated engagement hall she was left stunned. Of course, I thought, the one perk of getting married to Armaan Mallik..it'd be the wedding of a life time. The press were allowed to come a bit earlier for questions and such, but her boss had specifically warned her to get invited in to the engagement party..she wanted the inside details on how the function played out, the inside gossip, who was and was not invited, did any drama occur..no matter how subtle it may have been…pretty much everything that would make the article as juicy as possible, capturing the attention of all the readers.. after all..who wouldn't want to know about WHAT happened at the Mallik engagement! Ahh her sweet sweet boss, she'd found out that Armaan and I had gone to the same uni, and said

"Oh Ridz, darling, it should be easy for you to get invited to the party..after all you and Mr. Mallik did go to the same uni, and I've even heard were friends…"

What was I supposed to say to that, though I did lightly hint that there may be a possibility that he doesn't remember me, that he won't invite me…and all that Naina (her boss)could do was stare at her in a ever so "sweet" manner and say "Ridz hun, you're young, and you're beautiful…so flaunt it..even if the many is getting engaged..that doesn't change that fact that he's a major flirt…just flirt your way into his heart.."

When I had told Muskaan what Naina had said, she just agreed with her..saying that this would all help us get closer to our plan..which honestly, I was starting to have second doubts about. I don't think I'll even be able to get myself invited into this engagement party, and here I am all set to break this mans heart…chuckling to herself..ha yeah right!

Taking out her Sony camera she looked around the hall thinking what she should take pictures of, she had purposely not brought any other person with her to take pictures…one because she wanted to show Armaan that despite getting such a great opportunity to interview him before the engagement, she wasn't going to take advantage of this opportunity….she was considerate enough to not have brought a photographer with her who would hover over him trying to get the pictures of him, and two because if she somehow did manage to get herself invited to this event..she wouldn't know what to do with the photographer….

Walking around, trying to avoid the other journalist and reporters that were here as well, I continued to take some nice pictures of the hall, the walls were a mix of a light shade between a cream and light pink color, and there were pictures of the two in "love" couple elegantly placed on the walls…that's what her first picture was….a picture of a picture. She took a few more pictures before she decided that this was enough, her real aim was to meet Armaan, man…for a person who claimed to be very punctual, he was about 20 minutes late…

Turning around I saw a group of reporters and journalist circling in together, ahh that must be him…maybe I should wait here? Wait for the rest of them to be done before I go and take my chance..? Noo Riddhima, you know you're just trying to delay the situation here, you're avoiding trying to meet him..and that can't be avoided forever, after all…you were given a task to complete by your boss, and you sure as hell know that if you fail to complete it..she'll be very very very angry! But but but, she said I had to flirt my way into his heart and get myself invited, and I can't do that with so many journalist and reporters around right now..now can I?

Smiling at my own little victory I turned around and waited for the rest to be done, I had..for the time being delayed my task just a bit further. Staring back at the wall, she saw the picture of Armaan and his soon to be fianc. He looked the same in the picture, if anything..he'd only grown more handsome if that was possible. His smoky grey blue eyes that had that charm that could captive anyone, his perfectly mess and tousled hair, with a few strands falling over his forehead, his long yet perfectly pointed nose..it was too too perfect and cute, his proportionately shaped lips, that were a bit to nice, they created this desire deep within her to just kiss him, and his sinfully deep dimples…that made her heart skip a beat. He was in one word..Gorgeous! The girl next to him was quite pretty too, she had long shiny black hair that fell gracefully over her back, big chocolate brown eyes and smooth fair skin, she seemed to be laughing at something, probably at Armaan because when I glanced back at Armaan..he was almost glaring at her from the side of his eyes, and had one arm around her back..pulling her near him…and well..they looked in love. Ifelt something tug at her heart…Ialmost wished that I could be in the girls place, but I knew that would never happen..and just as quickly as she had thought that thought…she dismissed it admonishing herself forever thinking like that…I've already been under the spell of Armaan Mallik once, not again!

"It's a nice picture isn't it? It's one of my favorites…"

I turned around quickly at the sudden sound of the deep masculine voice, and I stood still. There dressed in black Armani suit stood Armaan, looking at her with a grin on his face, his dimples setting deep into his cheeks…and if I'm not mistaken..I thought I saw something flicker in his eyes…a look at that said "I know her, but from where.." Though I could be wrong, because the minute I saw him, I few my heart beat accelerate, it felt like my heart was in my throat, my pulse I'm sure was racing at that moment, and to keep my hands from shaking I held them together tightly in front of me….telling myself to calm down I looked back at Armaan with a smile…

Armaan looked back at the beauty in front of him. She was dressed in a sparkly champagne colored dress that fit every curve of her body. The color enhanced the creamy complexion of her skin, and her eyes…were a soft brown…and as he saw her glance down for a second he noticed that she'd put on grey eye liner, lightly smudged..making her eyes stand out even more…her hair was long and done in curls that framed her face, and she had a smile that made her whole face light up…she was beautiful no doubt about that, and a for it took him a second before he realized he was staring..but he'd definitely seen her somewhere….where…

"Yes it's a very nice picture..couldn't help admiring how great you two look together.."

Her voice brought him out of his thoughts, looking back at her he gave her a small smile…he was about to ask her what she was doing here before it clicked…"Riddhima…Riddima Gupta! My god it's been so long!"

Stunned would be an understatement, she was shocked out of her mind that he actually remembered her, yes they did share a brief fling but still…there'd been many women in his life, and she was sure she wasn't that memorable for him…

"Yes, yes, I didn't think you'd remember me..Armaa..I mean Mr. Mallik"

"Oh stop it, don't be so forma call me Armaan, of course I'd remember you..we went to the same uni after all…soo what are you doing here..?"

"Well, I'm a journalist, and I came here on behalf of Glamor Magazine…"

"Ahh where's your photographer…?"

"Well I didn't want to have a guy hovering around you taking pictures, I brought my own camera, and I'll get somebody to do touch ups later…"

"Thank you Riddhima, how about you stay for the ceremony? I'm sorry I didn't invite you earlier…I guess I'd almost forgotten.." he was cut off mid sentence by Riddhima..

"It's okay Armaan I understand, it's been a while since we've seen each other…umm are you sure you want me to stay? "

"Yes, yes, don't worry about it…actually in two days we're all leaving for Florida, kinda of live celebrating before the wedding..just an extended celebration..till our wedding day.."

Seeing him laugh I swear I felt my heart skip a beat or two..he seems so sincere right now, so real, and nice, and honest, and still just as gorgeous…

"anways..how about you join us??"

"Armaan you're being too generous now, I don't think I can.."

"I'm not taking no for an answer, you're coming and that's final…tell your boss!"

Winking at her he walked away towards the guest that were just beginning to arrive, and as she looked around she saw more people in the room, two of the people being his parents from what she could tell, and she noticed that he definitely looked like his Dad…

This plan of theirs was working a bit tooooo well, and things were going a bit toooo easy for her liking, there had to be a hitch somewhere…it couldn't be this easy could it?
