Much as i hate Archana for not trusting Manav, i wud still say it is a Pavitra Rishta cos it is not easy to still love a man who has disgraced his wife and visits brothels frequently (cos this is what Archana thinks of Manav). Any other self respecting woman wud have divorced Manav immediately after and hated him to the core... but Archu cudn't do that...(here credit also goes to Manav.. he was such a good human being and husband that she cud never forget his good deeds)
From Manav's side it has always been a Pavitra Rishta... he did not get angry with his wife and his inlaws who accused him of being a pimp... rather he tried to convince her...he did not lose faith on his wife even though circumstances, villains and his Aai conspired to malign her... he lost faith because of her unresponsive behavior and misguided first hand information from close and trustworthy people.. (Satish and Sulochana)... he made all attempts to save his relationship from breaking... but unfortunately luck has never really favoured him. Even now, when he hates her to the core... he did not go to the extent of being rude or slapping her or insulting her by Satish's name, on the contrary he still can't see her in pain or trouble... he wiped her tears lovingly in the garage scene and gave up his seat for her when she was uncomfortable in the crowded train.
At the end of the day, we all make mistakes... but it doesn't change the way we think and behave... our instinct... the fact remains that Archana and Manav may be angry/disappointed/ mad at each other as of now since circumstances have brought them to this position but they can never hate each other.. somewhere they love each other and just like our emotions and our reflexes, this feeling comes out in unexpected ways when they need each other most... like in the train scene when Manav simply did what a husband shud have done. I'm pretty sure that even though Manav said that he wudn't give a second glance to Archana if he ever saw her in the street... if tomorrow ajit says something nasty abt Archu Manav will thrash him black and blue.
It is this feeling that keeps them together irrespective of whether they live together/get divorced/do not acknowledge their love for each other... this is the strong point of their relationship.. the 2nd being that both are mature and think alike. so given a chance they will try to sort their problems (when Archu goes to the Deshmukh family in a few days)

Well said nikitagmc!

I also think its a pavitra rishta. No matter what emotions, trials and tribulations they go through, their love remains pure.

Archana tried multiple times to forget Manav when they separated. Even when she would doubt the proof against Manav, she tried to be convinced of his characterlessness. But, even with that she just couldn't stop the love. She couldn't even think of being with another man, for her the only man in her life is Manav. I don't know if she still believes that he is a pimp, but even if she does, she still loves him. (I agree with nikitagmc though, a lot of credit to Manav here, he is such a good person and was always a good husband. Its impossible to forget someone who showered you and your family with so much love and care.)

As for Manav, its also still a pavitra rishta. He would raise his voice at his aai of 28 (I think) years, for his wife of a few months, because he couldn't stand her humiliation or any accusations against her. He always defended Archana until her own family (directly and indirectly) set up the situation so that he didn't have anything else to think. Even after he felt that she was with Satish, he still loved her and thought good of her, it only reached a breaking point when Sulochana made it seem like Archana put them in jail and then Sachin died. Even though he now "hates" her, he still can't see her pain. He felt bad for twisting her arm, he can't see her tears (hence wiping them), he can't stand anyone touching/bothering her (like on the train)... you can see the love.

Both can't see each other in pain. In fact last night, I was thinking that if Archana ever got into any trouble because of or with Ajit (or anyone else for that matter) Manav wouldn't let them go easily, they would get more than just a thrashing. Even after everything that has happened, even though Manav has convinced himself that he has no relations to Archana and family, they still have this natural sense of right over each other. Its a very instinctual feeling of protection of one's own which stems from love. No matter how hard first Archana and now Manav try to repress it, the love is still there and it comes out in full form whenever provoked.

Like the title song says, they will always be each others "sahara", whether they realize it or not. No matter how much hatred and misunderstandings there may be, their love remains pure, and that makes it a Pavitra Rishta for me.

Man u guys say soo much that there is nothing left for me to say....

Well i think PR is perfect title for the show.. even though its not suiting it after ARchu left Manav's house but still this show focus on purity of the relationship of marriage even though there wer lot of mistrust n misunderstanding both Manav n Archu kept loving each other.. No third person could ever take their place is their hearts.. So i think its perfect title no matter wat happens u still love ur spouse n keep loving him/ her n no1 else thats wat PR is all about..
