The tree was up and the boxes of ornaments were set down next to it.
Suddenly the door opened and the four girls who had put up the tree turned to see who had invaded the penthouse apartment.
"Radzie!" One of the girls turned and leapt onto the three girls who entered.
Bhavna laughed. "Whoa Shabzie!"
Shabo grinned and grabbed Bhavna as well. "BD!"
"You're scaring them," Rinki commented from behind as she reached forward to greet the girls.
"N!" One of the other four girls took the intruders in a huge hug.
"Meeriye!" Nonee called back. "How's you?"
"I'm very good." Meera grinned when suddenly her phone rang.
"Boyfriend?" Aradhna giggled.
"Shut up." Meera smirked before answering the phone. "Hello?"
"Is the plan still in motion?" A male voice greeted her.
Meera smiled involuntarily at the voice on the other end. "What do you think?"
"I think yes."
"Well then you think right." She teased. "Now can I go? I've got some friends here waiting to trim the tree."
A sudden silence overcame the line and finally he spoke. "Is SHE there?""
"Yes she is. Want to talk?" Meera grinned at Bhav who looked at Meera with a suspicious glance.
"As much as I'd love to say yes, no Mee," The voice replied. "But I'll see you soon."
"Yup bye! Thanks!"
"For?" He had a smile in his voice.
"Just cuz," Meera sighed. "Now go. Bye!"
"All that smiling?" Bhav smirked." You're sure it wasn't Shabd?"
Meera rolled her eyes. "Yes Bhav, I'm sure it wasn't Shabd." It was your boyfriend in fact,"
"Meaning you're cheating on him?" Kiran gasped.
"Yes Kimz, I am." Meera answered right as the doorbell rang. "Now that must be the village displays I ordered. I'll be right back."
She sighed as she made her way to the door when suddenly two hands came over her eyes. "Guess who?"
Meera reached up and felt around the person's wrists and grinned. "Either Shahid, Preet or Armaan,"
The hands left her face and she turned to see Shahid gaping at her. "How?"
She shrugged. "My secret."
"Meera," He glared as she smiled. "Tell me,"
She grabbed his right hand and held up his Guess watch. "You three are the only guys who wear watches on the right."
"Damn!" Shahid cursed. "You did this last time. I was supposed to take it off." Meera laughed until he took her in a hug. "How've you been?"
"Pretty well and you?" Meera smiled back.
"Same same, all plans ready to go?"
Meera glanced around. "THEY were supposed to be here by now."
"They?" Shahid asked.
"We're in here," a couple of voices whispered from the pantry. Meera glanced up at Shahid who advanced slowly to the pantry. He pulled open the door and five familiar guys piled out. Meera grinned at all five of them before shoving them back inside and switching on the light while standing in the doorway.
"You boys took too long." She glared at them while Shahid hid a smile.
"There was traffic." Prem argued while Mayank just shook his head at Prem.
"Where are the others?" Vishal asked.
Preet glanced around at the closed sliding door. "They must already be inside."
Armaan grinned."That's why this one's glaring at us."
"This one?" Mayank laughed. "She's gonna kill you,"
"No," Meera smiled sweetly. "This one will do no such thing."
"And why not?" Shahid asked.
Meera rolled her eyes. "Got to keep my friends happy no?"
Preet swung an arm around her neck. "That's why you're so much fun to pick on."
Meera gave a blank look to Preet who backed away. "I'd shut up if you want to go near Shabo today,"
"Got it," Preet mimed zipping his lips.
"So Meera, what's the next step?" Vishal asked when Bhavna's voice was heard.
"Do you need help M?"
Meera gave a panicked look to the boys who shook their heads. "No B, I'll be there in a second. How about you call the rest of the girls?"
"Okies,"
She breathed a sigh of relief as she heard the footsteps fade away. She turned to face the guys. "Prem, you know where to go right?" Prem nodded. "Great, get the guys changed to execute the plan."
The guys all followed Prem down a hallway while Meera called the rest of the guys.

"Where's the food?" Aradhna asked the minute Meera walked back in.
"On the way," she grinned.
"What's with the smirk?" Rinki asked, narrowing her eyes.
"What? I can't smile at my OWN Christmasy party?" She frowned before pretending to sulk.
"Fine, you can." Rinki shrugged as the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it." Meera all but ran to the door.
"Does that make anyone else suspicious?" Nonee spoke after a few seconds.
"Oh my god yes!" Shabo frowned. "What is with her?"
"She's being over eager?" Kiran suggested.
"Normally it'd be okay," Bhavna commented.
"But it just seems really off today," Rinki agreed.
"Exactly." Aradhna frowned.
"Look who I found!" Meera skipped back in the room followed by Shifali, Asma, Ravjot, Zahra, Avneet and Maddy.
"Yayy!" Aradhna stood up to greet them. "You guys are finally here!"
Shifali frowned seeing the large tree already decorated. "And you guys already put up the tree."
"They did it," Nonee nodded towards Shabo, Rinki, Kiran and Meera before reaching forward and hugging Avneet and Maddy.
"We still have to put together the village display though! And put up stockings!" Meera smiled. "And bake!"
Bhavna grinned. "Best part of Christmas!"
"We know BD," Shabo grinned back. "Are you making the Oreo truffles?"
"Nope." Meera interrupted before Bhav could answer. "Only Christmassy things!"
Bhavna pouted. "Right."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Meera? Where's the icing sugar?" Avneet asked after opening all the cupboards.
"If you're done taking apart my kitchen—" Meera glared."It's in the pantry from outside. Go get it."
"I'll get it," Maddy smiled.
"No!" Meera shouted. "Let her get it."
Everyone gave a suspicious glance to Meera who shrugged before Avneet opened the swinging door to the kitchen. Muttering silently to herself she approached the closed pantry door. Opening it, she felt around for the light switch, when suddenly a warm hand clasped over hers. She let out a tiny shriek before another hand came onto her mouth.
"It's me," a whisper came from the darkness.
Avneet fiddled around with the light switch when she finally flipped it on. Her eyes mirrored the shock she felt when she locked eyes with her capturer. He slowly removed his hand from her mouth and she gasped.
"Armaan?"
His large expressive eyes grew warm. Slowly he glanced up and sure enough a spring of mistletoe hung from the slanted ceiling.
Avneet grinned. "Please tell me this wasn't your idea?"
"Would you believe it was Jiya's?" Armaan smiled.
"Jiya? Tumhari beti Jiya?"
Armaan nodded. "Main kisi aur Jiya ko nahin jaanta,"
Avneet smiled. "Did she tell you what it's for?"
"The mistletoe?"
Avneet nodded.
"I have a fairly good idea." Armaan slowly tilted Avneet's face towards his before kissing her softly.
"Merry Christmas," he whispered as they both came up for air.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Where did she disappear to?" Shabo paused between mixing the gingerbread batter.
"Avneet right?" Nonee frowned. "I was wondering that too."
Meera frowned. "Let me go check."
"Okay then," Ravjot frowned as Meera left the room quickly.
Meera winced seeing the pantry door closed and decided it was best to just go back to the kitchen. "She's on the phone."
"With?" Shifali questioned.
"Mujhe kya pata? Anyways I need one of you to go buy some icing sugar. We're out." Meera nodded. Before any of the girls had any chance to volunteer she glanced at Madhuri. "Maddy can you go get it?"
Maddy shrugged. "Where do you want me to go?"
Meera smiled. "Take the service elevator down—it'll take you to the convenience store!"
Maddy nodded. "Sure, be right back."
Meera smirked watching Maddy leave the room.
"Why are you smiling?" Asma frowned.
"I swear to god; is it a bad thing to smile?" Meera groaned in a frustrated tone. "Usually you guys yell at me for not smiling and now," Meera sighed dramatically.
"Now, is a different story," Zahra nodded.
"What's so different?"
Zahra glanced at the other girls who all shrugged. "Forget it," She mumbled.
"Thought so," Meera preened before opening the oven to check the first batch of cookies.
"Mee! Wait!" Radz called out as Meera stuck her bare hand into the oven.
Meera yelped in pain as Shabo and Rinki dragged her over to the sink, unleashing a cold stream of water on it.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Rinki glared as she watched Meera fidget from the cold water.
"Shush," Kiran said from the back. "She's in pain. We'll all yell at her later,"
"Thanks," Meera said through her gritted teeth.
"You deserve it," Rinki muttered. "Do you have ointment?"
Meera nodded. "In my room, and you two can let go," She frowned at both the girls. "I don't have a broken foot or something."
Shifali snickered. "Yeah but you fall down a lot," she high-fived Radz who shrugged when Meera glared at her.
Rinki rolled her eyes. "Can we go?"
"Where are we going?" Meera frowned.
"Oh my god Mee," Rinki rolled her eyes. "Burn, ointment, remember?"
Meera sighed. "Right,"
The two of them left the kitchen in silence until Rinki snickered.
"What?" Meera's eyes flashed at her amused face.
"Nothing."
"I'm sure,"
"Yup,"
"Tell me."
"No,"
"Now!"
Rinki sighed as they approached Meera's room. "I was just thinking what the reaction would've been if a certain Mr. Shabd was around."
"Oh." Meera's cheeks colored and Rinki shook her head.
"If hearing his name gets that reaction, what do you do when he's in front of you?" Rinki grinned.
"None of your business," Meera glared before reaching into her drawer to get the ointment.
Rinki glared back. "Thanks Mee, this is the gratitude I get for caring about you while the others were hell bent on making fun of you?"
Meera opened her mouth to respond but then she frowned. "Stop making me feel bad!"
Rinki shrugged. "I'm not doing anything..." she trailed off as she opened the tube for the ointment.
Meera cringed as the cold cream touched the place she burned. "I'm sorry."
"For?" Rinki sighed. "You don't have to be."
"Okay stop!" Meera said loudly. "You're guilt tripping me!"
"Am I?"
"Obviously!" Meera sighed. "Whatever I said—or didn't say in this case. Sorry."
Without another word she turned on her heel and left, closing the door behind her.
"What the hell?" Rinki muttered as she stood to open the door. Her hand reached the doorknob and she turned it only to find that it was stuck. Almost as if the door was locked.
"Yeah we're locked in,"
She whirled around hearing his voice. "What are you doing here?" She narrowed her eyes at Farid who stepped into the room from the balcony. "Did you climb the damn pipe?" She stepped towards him and glanced down. "You know we're on the 38th floor right?"
He rolled his eyes. "Yes Rubina, I climbed up 38 levels just to see you; I don't love you that much to risk my life."
She froze at the balcony not wanting to turn to see him. She wasn't sure why those words stung her but there was no doubt that they did. Grinding her teeth she turned to him and kicked him in the shin.
"Owww what the f*ck was that for?" He kneeled down, holding his shin.
She shrugged. "It's how I greet you, dear hubby. Or did you forget?" She mocked a look of shock.
He looked up at her from nursing his shin and cursed under his breath.
Rinki wiped the smile off her face and went to the door, trying to open it again.
"It's locked."'
"I know."
"Then why are you wasting your energy with that?" He taunted. "I've got a much better idea to use your energy,"
Rinki sighed and turned around to see him smirking at her. "Do I really want to even know?"
"Probably not, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a good idea." He took a step towards her.
"You wouldn't," she warned.
"Really? After the years we've been together—you can't tell me you still live in this delusional world."
She shut her eyes and waited. Farid's hands clutched at her waist and she gasped feeling him pull her towards himself. She kept herself in the darkness as she felt him push away the hair from her neck and a light breath that went across her collarbone.
"Don't." She whispered as she felt his hand on her shoulder.
"What?" he whispered.
She sighed before using her right hand and pulled him up by the hair. "Don't."
A low growl was heard in his throat until he pushed himself away from her. "Fine."
She cringed hearing the cold tone in his voice. "Are you mad?"
"No," He frowned before taking out his cell phone. "Yeah—ha ha ha very funny. Just come open the door. No I know that, but....fine we'll wait."
"What was that?" She asked.
"I was asking them to come unlock the door."
"Who's them?" She raised her eyebrow.
"Long story."
"Well judging by the phone call we have time." She shrugged.
He turned to look at her and saw her smiling sweetly back at him. "Why do you do this?"
"Do what?" She frowned.
"Get me pissed off and then look at me with those eyes,"
She grinned. "I actually don't do any of that on purpose; just happens."
"Sure sure," Farid smirked as she tucked her head into the crook of his shoulder. Comfortable as they were, Farid launched into telling her the entire plan that Meera had cooked up with the guys.
"That sneaky little...."
Farid looked at her in shock. "You're gonna swear at her?"
"Course not," she frowned. "But still! No wonder she's acting so weird today. Not that it's unusual,"
"You're so nice."
"I know," she preened. "It's why you love me."
"Right about that,"
"When can we go down?" She asked.
"Once we get unlocked." He replied.
"I knew that," she frowned. "We'll be bored."
"I have one thing." He shrugged.
"Cards?" She grinned.
"Uh no." He reached on top of Meera's night table and winked at Rinki who shook her head.
"Mistletoe is your idea of not being bored."
"Basically," He winked. "You know you want to."
"Uh huh," she smirked as he leaned closer. Her snide remarks left her head as she felt the softness of Farid's lips on her own. He broke the sweet kiss and she smiled. It was different than most but there was a certain innocence connected to it.
"Merry Christmas," He smiled.
She took his large hand in hers. "You too,"

~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Meera trampled down the steps and sat down on the bar stool with a forlorn expression on her face.
"What's up?" Bhavna questioned.
"Where's Rinki?" Kiran asked.
"We had a fight," Meera sighed.
Shifali rolled her eyes. "Meera, you need to stop being so mean,"
Kiran saw a hint of a smile in Meera's eyes and narrowed her eyes at her.
Meera glanced up and glared at Shifali who shrugged. "I need to go pick up the gifts I bought for you guys."
Zahra smiled. "You don't need to."
"Yesh she does," Ravjot preened.
"Uh huh," Asma agreed.
"I want gifts," Shabo smirked.
Meera rolled her eyes. "See Zahra,"
Zahra shrugged. "I tried."
"Oh well," Radz shrugged. "Are you going to go get our gifts?"
Meera frowned. "Patience is a virtue,"
"Uh huh," Aradhna rolled her eyes. "Gooo!" She smirked as she pushed Meera out the door, only to see Meera smack straight into Mayank's chest. Aradhna's eyes stayed glued to Mayank's face as Meera made a face and backed away.
"Ssh!" She told both of them before gesturing for Mayank to take her away. She smiled before disappearing back into the kitchen.
"What are you doing here?" Aradhna smiled as he took her hand leading her up the stairs.
"Sssh," He winked before pulling her into a room.
"Mayank," she frowned. "Batao na?"
"It's a surprise."
"I got that," she glared.
He rolled his eyes. "Tum bhi na...look around'where are we?"
Aradhna hesitantly pulled her eyes away from his beautiful face to take in the surroundings. Her eyes grew wide and she clasped the chair she was standing next to with both hands. "How'how....?"
He grinned and kissed her forehead softly. "I figured this Christmas, I'd give you something you love the most."
She grinned before shaking her head. "Two things I love the most," She grinned before putting her arms around him.
He bent his head down slightly so their foreheads were connected. "You love me too much."
She pulled back and stared at him in shock. "Mr. Mayank Sharma, tumhari tabyaat to theek hain na?"
Mayank frowned. "Kyun?"
Aradhna grinned. "I love you too much?" She shook her head. "That's wrong. You love me more than I deserve,"
"Okay okay stop. If we get arguing, we never stop." He smiled.
"Healthy competition is hardly a bad thing."
Mayank smiled before putting his hands on her waist pulling her closer. "Do you like it?"
Aradhna glanced around the huge library and smiled. "Love it. It's perfect for us." Mayank nodded. "Now tell me, was it your idea or Meera's?"
"What do you think?"
Aradhna shrugged. "Must've been hers. Tumse to yeh umeed bhi nahin rakh sakhti,"
Mayank smirked and pulled her closer, their faces merely inches apart. "Mujhse kaisi umeed rakh sakhti ho?"
"Aisi to bilkul nahin,"
Mayank grinned and lightly kissed her cheek. "Merry Christmas Aradhna,"
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Where's Radz?" Bhav questioned as Meera walked in alone.
Meera shrugged. "I showed her the library."
"And you came out already?" Shifali gaped.
"The books didn't keep you in?" Shabo grinned.
Meera sighed. "I don't feel like reading,"
"You look down M," Bhav sighed as she came near her.
"I'm just meh." Meera sighed.
"But it's Christmas!" Kiran squealed. "Look at all the snow!" she gazed wistfully out the window.
"You should go outside if you love it so much." Meera smiled.
"I should!" Kiran grinned. "I'll be out on the porch okay?"
"What? You're not gonna even ask anyone to come?" Shabo frowned.
"It's my special thing," Kiran grinned before going down to the front door.
She threw it open and shivered at the cold burst of wind chilling her down to her core.
She slipped on some boots and went outside, letting the cold snow whirl around her. She became so engrossed in feeling the snowflakes sway around her that she didn't notice someone come outside after her.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!" she screamed feeling someone's arm's encircled around her waist and raise her in to the air. "Let me dowwwnnnn!!!!"
Finally she was let down to the ground and she whirled around, ready to smack whoever it was who scared her out of her wits. That was until she saw those dark brown eyes that made her blush every time.
"Akki," she said breathlessly. "What are you doing here?"
He shrugged his broad shoulders and smiled. "I...missed you?"
Kiran blushed at the compliment and glanced up to see him standing in front of her in a light pink shirt. "You're wearing it!"
Akki glanced down at his shirt and shrugged. "Merry Christmas?"
She grinned. "Wait," The smile faded. "This is my gift?"
Akki rolled his eyes and turned her around placing his chin on her shoulder and sliding his hands around her waist. "The snow's also part of your gift,"
"What? You arranged for it?" Kiran turned her head slightly. "What'd you do? Send a letter to God?"
Akki grinned and knocked his head lightly with hers. "No, but shut up and enjoy the moment."
She grumbled slightly before settling into his warm chest. "Are you sure that's my gift?"
Akki sighed. "No patience whatsoever."
"Nope," Kiran smirked as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a dark blue velvet box.
Akki smiled before opening the box slightly to show her a diamond studded heart pendent with a little key hanging underneath. "Do you like it?"
Kiran sighed as she took the delicate pendent between her fingers. "It's pretty."
"Like the one who's wearing it,"
"You're planning on wearing it?" she smirked up at him, getting a glare in return. "Okay sorry, put it on me?"
He nodded and took it out of the box, slowly doing the clasp around her neck. "You like it?"
"I love it'thank you," Kiran smiled as Akki led her to the bench.
"Want to watch the snowfall?"
"Aren't you cold?" She frowned seeing him only in a t-shirt. Akki shrugged. She sighed and pulled him closer to herself. "Come here,"
She cuddled herself against him and they both watched the snow fall.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"So I'm guessing we can't bake till Maddy comes back?" Asma sighed, putting her elbows on the counter.
Meera nodded. "Let's go into the rec room?"
The other girls agreed and left the room one by one.
"Do you have a dart board?" Shifali grinned.
"Why?" Ravjot frowned.
"I need to perfect my aim." Shifali grinned.
Shabo snickered. "Looks like Shahid's dead."
Shifali turned back from the doorway and passed a death glare to Shabo who shrugged. "My new target happens to be you, deal with that!"
Shabo glared at Shifali who stalked out of the room.
"You coming M?" Bhav asked.
"I'll be there in a few." Meera nodded. "Just have to talk to the chef about the menu."
"Awesome." Zahra grinned as they walked out.
Meera glared at the chef's back before elbowing his spine. "Don't forget what you have to do,"
He sighed. "Meera'the plan has been set for how long now?"
"I know," she whispered. "But if anything goes wrong. I'm gonna kill you,"
"No you're not." He taunted as she went toward the rec room.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Meera walked in to see Asma and Ravjot around the pool table, while Shifali and Zahra were practicing their aim. Some of the others were sitting around the table, playing cards.
"Go fish!" Shabo squealed loudly.
Meera rolled her eyes. "Can I play?"
Shabo nodded. "Wait till the next game though,"
Meera grinned. "Okay," She made her way to the couch were Bhav was sitting flipping through the channels. "Anything good?"
"There's 'The Night Before Christmas,' or 'The Grinch," Bhav told her.
"Grinch!!!" Meera squealed.
"You're a Grinch," Shifali grinned at her before aiming a dart straight into the bulls eye mark.
Meera glared at her. "Just for that'you don't get to have the lavish dinner."
"What?" Shifali frowned. She handed the remaining darts to Zahra and stalked out of the room while Meera giggled under her breath.
"Why are you so happy?" Bhav frowned.
"Because all my friends are together!" Meera grinned.
Shabo rolled her eyes. "Over enthusiastic,"
Nonee grinned and high-fived Shabo while Meera glared at them both.
"Meera'do you have any munchies or something?" Asma frowned.
"In the kitchen." Meera nodded. "Help yourself. Or get the chef to help you out."
"Great!" Asma put down her cue stick and went towards the kitchen with Ravjot following closely behind.
"Where are you going?" Meera called out.
"With Asma?" Ravjot glanced at Meera as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Noo!" Meera frowned. "You stay with me! I need help with the universal remote!"
All the girls glanced at Meera who was acting quite stranger. Or rather, stranger than usual.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Listen to her," Shifali muttered under her breath. "Telling me, I can't have any of the dinner."
"Problem Miss?"
Shifali glances up to see a butler standing there with his eyes on the floor, and his longish hair covering his eyes. "What's it to you?"
"I'm sorry for asking, but it seems like you're not in the Christmas mood."
"Why should I be?"
"Do you not enjoy spending time with friends?"
"Why are you bothering me?" Shifali snapped.
He backed away. "I am sorry ma'am. Can i offer any assistance?"
"Can you get my boyfriend here?" She sighed.
"Definitely," He glanced up at her and Shifali gasped.
"Shahid?!" She leaped into his open arms. "What the hell are you doing here?"
He grinned as she kissed him quickly. "That was a surprise!"
"Shush!" Shifali frowned, keeping her hands around his neck.
"Happy to see me?"
"Course not," Shifali rolled her eyes. "Why should I be?"
"Oh yeah'I'm not important na?" He smirked. "That's why you're readily telling a butler that you miss me,"
"Chup!" she glared. "You obviously weren't supposed to find out."
Shahid shrugged. "I'm just that smart."
"Of course you are,"
"Merry Christmas Shifali," He said softly.
Shifali dropped the teasing look and glanced up into his warm chocolate eyes. "Merry Christmas Shahid."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"I'll just make some damn popcorn if I can find some," Asma mumbled as she walked out of the rec room. From the corner she heard two quiet voices and gasped. "Meera has thieves in her place!" Stealthily Asma snuck in the direction of the voices only to see Shifali with her arms wrapped around someone who looked quite a bit like Shahid. Asma let out another gasp and then smiled, thinking how sweet and special it was for her.
Suddenly sadness took over and she shrugged before walking into the kitchen. She saw the chef with his back towards her. "Where's the popcorn?" she asked as she opened some cupboards.
"In the microwave." A hoarse voice told her.
Asma frowned before turning around and opening the microwave and sure enough there was a bag of steaming popcorn sitting inside.
"Did Meera tell you to make some?"
"No ma'am." He replied.
Asma ripped open the bag. "Then?"
"Your heart did," He said in a cute voice.
Asma's eyes went wide and she went over to the chef and stood at his side. "What?"
"Your heart told me to make some,"
"And how would you know what my heart says?"
"Because it's with me?" he turned to her and took off his chef's cap getting a squeal from Asma.
"Farhan!"
"Yup,"
She grinned before hugging him tightly. "That was really sappy by the way."
"What was?" He frowned.
"The whole 'your heart is with me,'" Asma giggled.
"It was heartfelt."
"I'm so sure it was," She grinned. "What are you doing here?"
He wrapped her arms around her waist and pulled her closer. "I missed you,"
Asma smiled. "I missed you too,"
"I know." He grinned.
"Course you did," she rolled her eyes, and they landed on the stove. "You're cooking?" He nodded. "Do you know how?"
"Obviously," He lifted the pan and winked at her.
Asma shook her head. "Whacha making?"
Farhan glanced back at the entrance of the kitchen where someone else stood in a white uniform. "What are you making?"
Asma narrowed her eyes at Farhan who smiled. "He's the real chef?"
"Yes?" Farhan put down the pan and backed away.
Asma shook her head, "I was so impressed."
"That's why I said it," he whispered to her. "I love you,"
"I love you too," She sighed. "Merry Christmas."
"To you too," he kissed her softly.

"Meera, I don't know what you want from me!" Ravjot sighed for the 10th time. "I can't figure it out!"
Meera sighed with her. "Go call the repair guy."
"Why should I?" Ravjot frowned. "You do it." She pushed the remote to Meera.
Meera rolled her eyes and leaned closer to Ravjot. "Surprise for you in the other room if you shush about it,"
Meera grinned as she saw Ravjot's eyes glaze over. "Surprise?"
"You'll love it." She patted Ravjot's shoulder and gestured towards the room next door.
Ravjot looked at her with a weary glance before going into the other room where she saw someone hunched over the cable box. "Excuse me?"
"Hmm?" He mumbled.
"Who are you?"
"A guy."
She rolled her eyes. "I know that."
"Then why are you asking?"
"I asked who, not what?"
"Right."
"Are you going to answer?"
"You can't figure it out?"
Ravjot frowned. There were only a few people who would argue with her like this and right now this person seemed to be one of them. "Vi—Vishal?"
He turned back and gave her a heart stopping smile. "Thought you'd never guess."
Ravjot felt her knees give out and she grabbed the wall with her hands. "You—here?"
He shrugged before standing. "Not happy to see me?"
"Ecstatic is the right word I think." She frowned as he walked towards her.
"You seem confused," He trailed a finger from her hairline down to her chin.
"I—am." She nodded.
He was making it extremely hard for her to clear her head and get the thoughts out.
"You look like you have more to say." He smiled.
"I do."
"Then?"
"I can't with you so close," she mumbled quietly.
"Uh huh—why not?" He smirked.
"Vishal," She blushed hard and smiled. "Stop. You know perfectly well."
"The effect I hold on you?" He nodded. "I do know. Merry Christmas Ravjot."
She smiled up at him. "Merry Christmas to you too,"
"Guess what's in my hand?" He winked.
She frowned back. They were not even two inches apart and he wanted to play guessing games. She cursed silently before smiling. "No idea,"
He smiled and pulled up a spring of mistletoe, laughing silently at the darkness that took over her cheeks.
"Oh."
"Yeah. 'Oh.'" He grinned. "Know what it's for?"
"Duh." She grinned.
Without waiting for anything else Vishal leaned down and placed his lips on hers in a sweet kiss.

"I thought Asma was gonna bring back some food?" Bhav glared at Meera who watched as Zahra tried to hit the bull's-eye on the dart board.
"Go check yourself!" Meera glared back.
I will!" Bhav stomped out of the room into the kitchen where she saw a gingerbread house kit sitting on the counter. "Oohhh!"
"Want to make it together?"
She whirled around to see Nate shrugging.
"What are you doing here?"
He smiled. "It's all a plan,"
"What for?" she smiled back.
"That's not important. Want to make it or not?"
She grinned. "You remembered."
Nate smiled as he opened the box to the kit. "Want to make the icing or should I?"
"You can do it!" she said happily. "I'll get everything organized."
Nate nodded as Bhav poured out all the contents in the box. He smirked as he mixed the icing together watching her sigh dejectedly.
"What's up?"
"It's already organized." She pouted.
"Oh no!" He mocked a look of shock. "What will you to do now?"
She pouted and glared at him. "Shut up."
He smiled as she came with the full bowl of white sugary icing. "Should we put together the roof first?"
"The instructions say the walls." Bhav commented.
"Yeah but Bhav, it's easier with the roof put together." Nate mentioned. "I've done it before."
"So you're saying, because I haven't—I'll mess it up?"
"No," He frowned. "We'll do it your way."
Nearly 15 minutes later, Nate was holding the walls of the gingerbread house securely while Bhav was doing her best to place the roof on top. "Hold still," He muttered while she shushed him.
"I can do it." She whispered.
"That's why this is our 4th try?"
She rolled her eyes. "Maybe if you would shut up?" Gently she placed the roof down and quickly put the icing on the edges. "Done!"
Nate let go of the walls and leaned back to admire. "Nice job."
"Told ya so," she smirked before glancing down at the candy they had to decorate the house with. "How much did you eat?"
Nate shrugged. "Who counts?"
She rolled her eyes before bending down to work on it again when suddenly Nate spread icing all over her cheeks. "What. The. Hell. Was. That For?"
"You look cute," He grinned.
Bhav glared. "I'm going to kill you!"
Nate grinned as she lunged after him with the bowl of icing in her hand. "Watch it!" He ran into the wall and held out his arms to catch her when she rammed into him, getting some of the icing on his cheek and nose.
"Aha!" She smiled triumphantly. "Serves you right."
Nate grinned and kissed her quickly. "Sweet revenge,"
She bit her lip and laughed. "Merry Christmas Nate"
"Merry Christmas Bhav,"

Meera glanced down at her watch and grinned; it was time for the next course of action. "Hey Z! I need your help!"
Zahra glanced up from the cars she was holding. "With?"
"Come with." Meera stood and took Zahra along outside. "I need to get the other xmas gifts out of the car. Will you help?"
"Course." Zahra smiled.
"Here's the key." Meera handed her a key and smiled. "I'll be down soon."
"Okay," Zahra took the key and went down to the parkade. She walked quietly humming to herself as she looked for Meera's car.
From the corner of her eye she could feel someone watching her and she froze before glancing around only to see the eerie shadows everywhere.
"Must be my imagination." She whispered to herself as she walked quickly to the car. She finally found it and as she put the key in the lock she felt herself being pushed up against the car and a hand came over her mouth.
She prepared to bite her attacker until she saw the dark chocolate brown eyes that always melted her heart. Prem smirked back at her, knowing she had recognized him.
"Missed me?" She frowned and looked down at his hand. "Right." He smiled before removing it.
"What the hell Prem?"
"Element of surprise?" He grinned.
"Doesn't suit you," she sighed.
The smug look fell from his face and the familiar caring look returned. "Did I scare you?" He lightly cupped her cheek.
Zahra smiled. "Yeah, you did,"
"You're okay now?" Prem smiled
Zahra nodded. "Tum yahaan?"
"Surprise ," he winked.
"Woh to mujhe mila," she took a deep breath, still trying to even her breathing.
"Was it that bad?" He groaned. "I'm so sorry. I should leave all this to people like Preet."
Zahra smiled. "It's okay Prem. I'm alright. Sach mein,"
Prem smiled weakly.
"Ek minute—are they all here?" she glanced around the dark parking garage.
Prem grinned. "Not here per say—but yes somewhere in the building."
"Nice plan."
"Thank Meera for it," He smiled. "She hatched it with the guys."
"You are all insane." She commented.
"Yet you love me."
"Can't help it." she shrugged.
"Merry Christmas Zahra,"
"You too Prem," she reached up and kissed his cheek.

Shabo glanced around the almost empty room and her eyes narrowed on Meera's. "What's going on?"
"What do you mean?" Meera frowned.
"Everyone's disappeared." Nonee added.
"For a long time." Shabo sighed.
Meera shrugged. "How about Shabo, you go check? N, can you help me with the star on the tree in the other room?"
Nonee and Shabo exchanged a glance and Meera rolled her eyes. She was sure by now they thought she was insane—but it was all part of the plan.
"Okay," Nonee agreed as she followed Meera out of the room. "We'll need a massive ladder na?"
Meera nodded. "I'll go get it."
Nonee shrugged and went to sit by the fire, rubbing her hands up and down her arms. She loved the crackling of the fire with the heat that radiated from it. There was a sense of tranquility with it.
Nonee sighed as a blanket was wrapped around her. "Thanks Meeriye,"
"Wrong name."
A slow drawl caught her attention and she froze before looking up and her mouth falling open seeing Chuck Bass standing in front of her.
"What..." A hand was placed over her mouth and he shushed her.
"Don't talk."
Nonee grinned as he sat down next to her. She settled herself closer under his arm and sighed. Sitting with someone she loved near the fire was just perfect.
"Can I say one thing?"
She felt him shift a bit and she stiffened. She hated whenever he became a bit agitated. She knew feelings weren't his thing, but they were her thing.
"Go ahead," He said slowly.
"I love you Chuck Bass." She grinned.
He turned to her and smirked. "Well of course you do. I am Chuck Bass."
She rolled her eyes in response and cuddled closer to him. The need for words was never a problem with them. They were perfectly content with just being together.

Shabo wandered through the long lobby and groaned. "Why did she have to make me do this myself?"
"No one said you're by yourself," A voice called from around the corner.
Deep down Shabo was perfectly aware who this voice belonged to but still she crept around the corner and smiled up at Preet. "How'd I know you were here?"
"You're smart." He grinned.
"No duh," Shabo rolled her eyes. "Where are the rest?"
"Rest?"
"Of the guys?"
"Somewhere," He shrugged.
"Preet?"
He stared wordlessly at her.
"Preet!" She frowned. "Where?"
He sighed before rattling off the places where all the couples were located.
"Want to go make some fun?" she smirked.
"Always!"
The two of them were about to walk down the hall towards the kitchen when the elevator doors opened and Maddy stepped out with Manav who was holding her hand.
"Manav," she sighed. "We're here."
"So?" he smiled. "I can hold your hand na?"
Maddy smiled. "You never would before."
"Things change," He smiled.
"They do indeed." Maddy glanced down at the shimmering diamond ring on her left hand.
"Is that an ENGAGEMENT RING??" Shabo screamed.
"Shit." Maddy groaned, turning around to see Preet and Shabo staring with widened eyes.
"You got engaged?" Preet asked.
"No Preet—he gave her the ring for fun." Shabo rolled her eyes while he made a face at her.
"Yes Preet," Maddy sighed. "We're engaged."
"But shush!" Manav glared something that was very rare. "Don't tell anyone yet please."
"Why not?" Shabo frowned.
"We don't want to announce it yet." Maddy smiled. "We'll talk to our parents first."
Preet nodded. "Makes sense."
Shabo shook her head. "Secrets are bad!"
"Oh stop," Maddy grinned as they laughed.

"A job well done." Meera sighed as she glanced around the empty rec room. "All the girls with the ones they love."
A closed door sounded behind her. "Cept you,"
Meera spun around to see Shabd grinning at her. "I should've known."
"What?"
"If I could get ALL the guys here," she stood from the couch. "One of them could've called you."
"Why didn't you?" He stepped towards her.
"Why didn't I what?" she frowned.
"Call me here yourself?"
Meera sighed. "Shabd—it wasn't on purpose or something."
"As usual—weren't thinking about my happiness."
She smiled. "Yeah—you're right. I never think about you do I?"
"Never at all." He smirked before wrapping his arms around her and she sighed tucking her head under his chin. "I love you,"
"I know," She cuddled closer when her cell phone buzzed.
He groaned as she pulled away from him to answer the text. A smile came onto her face as she read and replied and he scowled. "Who was it? Secret boyfriend?"
She grinned up at him. "Tumhe kaise pata?"
He sighed. "Sadly I know everything about you," He pulled her closer again.
"Why is it sadly?" She grinned until her phone buzzed again.
"I'm going to chuck that thing out of the window!!" He glared as she turned to answer it.
She rolled her eyes before turning her attention back to the phone. She typed furiously fast and sent out a mass text.
"And who was that?" He asked as she returned her attention to him.
"It was Shahid—but then I just told everyone to come to the main room."
"Good plan," He whispered as he wrapped his arm around her waist and walked with her into the main room. "All of it was."
"Thanks," she grinned as she leaned up and kissed his cheek.
All the couples returned into the main room with all the decorations and none of them were surprised to see one another with their significant others.
"So enjoyed the party guys?" Shabd smiled while the rest of the guys agreed.
"Girls? What about you?" Meera grinned
Bhav pouted. "We didn't make a good gingerbread house." Nate rolled her eyes.
"And I didn't want to be locked in a room with him." Rinki frowned as she gestured at Farid who smirked down at her. "You had a different opinion upstairs."
"Shut up," she mumbled to him.
Aradhna glanced around the room and smiled. "I think I speak for everyone when I say we loved this Christmas."
"Yayy!" Meera smiled at her and everyone else. "Love you guys."
And you know I do love you alllll 😃 I'm also a bit lazy to format it right now...so you'll deal with it! 😃
Love,
Meera😛
