Ayushmann talks about past, present and future

Tellybuzz in a tete-e-tete with Ayushman, host of Star Plus' Music ka Mahamuqabla

Ayushmann
is a known face as an MTV VJ. We also remember him as the host of India's Got Talent. Now we would get to see this handsome guy as a host on Star Plus and Sai baba Productions' Music ka Mahamuqabla.

Talking of what made him take on this show Ayushmann says, "The rating of this channel is very good and the show is very much different. It has all known people in it. And it's a unique concept where there is no judge. They will not be small or big. There will be competition between the teams' a healthy one."

Ayushmann talks about the show that gave him a kickstart. He says, "I had been a participant of Roadies Season 2 which was six years back. After that I went back to Chandigarh and completed my studies. I did Masters there and Radio for two years. I groomed myself before coming down to Mumbai again. Yes, Roadies was the launch pad for me. Raghu is a very good friend and he called me for VJing. I agreed to do that and then the rest just followed (smiles)."

Apparently, Ayushmann too has knack for singing. "I can sing a bit because I love singing" he exclaims.

Ayushmann hopes to crossover to Acting-dom. "Mein acting karna chahta hoon (laughs) yes I want to act but now it's been only two years since I'm in this industry. I want to go far more," says the handsome host. And he has already attracted a few offers towards him, as he goes on, "Yes, I got and missed one offer. Also I got a character role in Abbas Tyrawala's next movie but I was hosting India's Got Talent, so I couldn't take that."

When asked about his opinion on daily soaps, he quips, "You watch my show MTV Stripped and that's my take on daily soaps."

He signs off with a humble request- "Star Plus is all together a new thing for me. I am sailing in a different boat now, so please love me and wish me luck (smiles)."

We wish Ayushmann good luck!
