
Never aspired to be an actor, she came to Mumbai from Ahmedabad to help a friend open a dance school, after a few days in the city, she decided to stay and conduct dance classes in the school. Co-incidence brought her to the world of Indian Television. Ekta Kapoor spotted her in a party and immediately offered her to act in her TV show. She gave a screen-test and and like they say ....rest is history

Sanjeeda acted in an offbeat film called Pankh directed by National Award winning director Sudipto Chatterjee and produced by Rohit Roy and White Feather Films, the production house which made films like Shootout At Lokhandwala, Kaante, Musafir, Dus Kahaniyan etc. The films also stars, Bipasha Basu, Maradona Rebello, Mahesh Majrekar, Lillette Dubey. The film will be releasing soon.
Aamir and Sanjeeda are both associated with an NGO called Muskaan since their NB3 days. They spent their valentines day with the kids of the orphanage and donated part of their winning car amount to the NGO for the kids. The duo together sponsers a child from the organization.
