Its interesting to read different views here........and iamindian though i too belong the old school of thoughts and also can understand where your posts are coming from......and yes its easier said than done.......but we need to move with time......personally though i would not dare to take such a step but have seen lots of celebrity weddings did well inspite of the age factor....Nargis-Sunil Dutt, Sachin-Anjali are a case in point here.........and also these serials the thrill aspect is what keeps us glued to it..........i surely would not want to see the same mundane things that we do in our daily life...cooking, swabbing, laundry etc.....we need to relieve our tensions and just relax while watching such shows.....
Yeah,I know Aishwarya is elder to Abhishek but only 2 yrs elder n you know what,Celebrities lives are totally different from normal people's life,let alone MIDDLE CLASS FAMILIES!Though Aishwarya Rai is 2 yrs elder to Abhishek,she's IS AISHWARYA RAI..... Would Abhishek's mother have agreed to this marriage if it was some Aam Ladki??I am not sure🤔 So,in that case Miss World getting married to Junior B makes more sense but here Here Simmi's way older than Abhi.... would Abhi's parents Be Happy to introduce a bride 8 yrs elder then Abhi to their relatives n Friends??😕 Wouldn't people ask that Abhi Did not get a Better match.?? CLEARLY... Abhi-Simmi DONOT look Good together like Aishwarya-Abhishek or Sachin Anjali..... Abhi's friend was Somewhat Right in Calling Simmi Anuj's Mom😆
may be due to HUGE age difference like Abhimanyu-Simran in Astitva Ek Prem Kahani..... there the parents were FAR SIGHTED enough to be disgusted by that EXTREMELY MISMATCHED MARRIAGE n IT DID NOT LAST actually,proving the parents were right!!
And If the BORING Factor has to be considered Would one choose a Boring-Normal-Peaceful life or a life full of everyday's thrills full of challenges that eventually leads to tension n fights if the mismatched couple cannot adjust??Why does a couple need THRILL anyways after they have children n after they have a settled mature life??Our Middle Class lifestyle is VERY DIFFERENT(It Called be called Boring- But I call it more Stabler) than Celebrity lives where people not only marry Much younger spouses but also Live together without getting Married..... that SOUNDS TO BE MUCH MORRRRRRRRRRRRE THRILLING But someone's life in not a News-Piece that It NEEDS TO HAVE THRILLER-MASALA in it!!😲
Creatives will show whatever is in their Script to make the show more Interesting BUT these Posts are about HOW PRACTICAL they are..... again I repeat,these types of relations Do Not Survive,no matter how THRILLING they appear in the beginning.... LIfe's Not about thrills,it's about stability.
