TV presenter Angad Bedi plays friend counsellor on a soon-to –be launched reality show, Emotional Atyachar that unmasks cheating partners. He spoke about this show in the print.
Why did you choose a reality show?
"This is not just another reality show. It is about the youth, issues they have to deal with, their loved ones…Subjects that require serious attention. Emotional Atyachar is about couples with relationship problems."
What is the show all about?
"Each week, we track someone who's going through an infidelity issue. We eavesdrop on conversations but make sure they do not feel intimidated. We chat, joke and share their emotions."
What is your role in the show?
"I'm the face and the anchor. I investigate problems related to loyalty and try to find a practical solution that is mutually acceptable to both. I'm the one they can count on .In short, I have wide shoulders you can lean on."
Is there any special woman in your life?
"No personal questions; my dad (Bishan Singh Bedi) won't like it."
Will there be discussions on sex in this show?
"Women have more emotional needs while men have needs. If your woman loves you and satisfies your needs and you still stray, that is being greedy. If you are looking for fun, you have no business to be in the relationship. Most men are shattered when their partners look elsewhere."
What advice would you give to broken hearts?
"Learn and never repeat your mistakes."
