The question is why were Pri's family consoling them? Probably they were in competition with them for public sympathy. I would never ever try to console somebody who had abused me. I think Pri relatives are also dramabaz..

This time I will have to agree with you. I wish Priyanka and her family had not consoled her. I cannot really think of a reason why they did , perhaps to give an impression that theyr large hearted people or maybe they did not want to create a scene. But whatever the case may be - they should have simply ignored them. There was no need to console Rumpa's mom . If they had consoled only Rumpa, i would have still understood as she was not responsible for what happened and had to bear the brunt of her mother's stupidity. At the end when Priyanka hugged her sister , the hurt in her eyes at the time was evident. When the video was playing, her sister too looked extremely upset and miffed. So I see no reason why they had to go and console them.

True, they should have maintained their dignity and not created any scene but this act of consoling them and pretending like nothing happened was a bit too much for me.

I felt it was a nice gesture from Pri's family to be honest. If I was in Pri's position and someone said those about me I would probably be too hurt or too shocked to say anything. They were hurt and it was evident. 😔
