Because they were embarrased of what Rumpa's mom said about Priyanka, probably scared of losing votes as well.

Now as soon as the video ended, Rumpa's mom goes - "Ye toh maine bilkul sahi kaha" 🤢 Then why the hell did she start crying afterwards?

But im glad at least Rumpa realized (or pretended to ) that her Mom was wrong and voiced it.

The mom was crying because she thought now that her raaz is out of her being a potty mouth lets cry now so we can still get the jantas vote. And Rumpa was crying because she felt she would lose votes and not be the perfect bride.

In real we have realized that Rumpa's mom has no tameez and has no decency. In all it's good shes gnna be sudesh rani's samdhan both will give each other a tough time hahaha
