As much of you like the storyline between Kunal and Shamoli, do realize, this is a 40 plus year old man with a 17 year old child, not a young woman. She's not even an adult in the literal sense. In the US she'd still be in high school and in some respects not even a graduate of high school.
Granted, girls might be sexually active, but hopefully with young boys similar to their own age, but a lawyer aged 40 plus? Good grief. There are somethings that we need to suspend when watching a drama, but when it promotes an unhealthy lifestyle or behavior, there is something very wrong.
There was nothing to stop Ekta and Co to increase this characters age to 22-25, but they chose not too. Why? Because someone on their Board of Directors (be that even Ekta Kapoor herself or family members - yep, I know what I wrote), actually get a kick out of these relationships.
