The place to debate?

So, here's something interesting I just randomly thought of!

Where do you personally prefer debating, and why?


Please, not the platonic answer of people can't see you on the net and that's why it is better etc... Something original, something new... 😉😆

But there should be a certain amount of freedom here. Its good to be monitored to prevent verbal or graphic abuse. To prevent things like spam etc. But I think the monitoring should not curb the critical necessity of debates ... and that is, to be able to contribute in EVERY THREAD ... even if a very different (opposite) point of view.

online.. as usually it comprises people of different backgrounds, mindsets , ages,etc.

in classrooms it has your peers who all want to fit in with the majority and usually say any old thing just for the sake of it.

plus classrooms imply that the age group cant be very wide.

While on the forums people speak logically for themselves.

moreover we can chose whatever debate we want, sometimes we dont care abt the pros and cons of electronic media lol

i would say online

why coz online debating here u have so many different members from different backgrounds, beliefs from different countries that online debating reaches a global set of members and gives them a chance to air there pov's

its hard to find such large scale debates in real life
so thats why i pick online

online we can choose which debate we want to comment on
but in reality debating may be restricted to certain topics
