The ghaghra-cholis have made way for traditional saris. Saat Phere's (Zee) lead heroine Saloni (Rajshri Thakur) will sport a different look after her marriage.

Keeping her complexion and body frame in mind, the saris have been designed to give Saloni a new more mature look.

Commenting on Saloni's look, the designer for the outfit, Payal Kothari said, "There will be a change from the salwar-kameez to saris.

But the saris are more like draped dupattas that flow to her left shoulder. Since it's a Rajashthani set-up, she's seen wearing a brocade blouse."

About the choice of colours, she said, "Her look is simple throughout, and the colours are simply solid." In terms of accessories, there will be a heavy emphasis on pearls.

"We have given her 30-40 pearl bracelets and neck pieces. They are all simple and elegant. Even during the sangeet shoot, we made her wear pearls."
