Like everyone I have been waiting for Radhika to turn around her life but don't know whether that will ever happen.Anyway, I wanted to share this poem with all the people in the forum whose posts I have been silently reading and enjoying.

Vanessa (In Latin it means a butterfly)

Vanessa,

Sweet fair maiden,

Struggling to break the shackles that bind

And to fly into the path of freedom.

Slowly you try to regain faith,

Gently testing the limit of your strength,

Opening yourself to the whims of nature

To forge ahead, into the future.

Your cocoon, although safe,

Was a melancholy place,

With only yourself as your friend

And all the others, strangers.

Gentle Vanessa,

Strong as a butterfly,

The world is full of wonder

Awaiting to reveal to you its splendour.

Have faith,

For out of darkness comes light,

And from light comes belief

To fly away into sunrise.
