Although i certainly dont approve of how he behaved, and do think it was a bit irrational and also childish -- I also think that Abhi's behavior was completely a normal reaction. The fact is he loves Simmi, and for the first time, after acknowledging, he's seeing the reality of the situation, their age, society's pressures etc. His behavior was actually his way of asking her to deny the truth and say that -- no it doesnt matter -- I love you. Thats all he wanted, I think. Some reassurance that what they're feeling is JUST as valid as al the arguments supporting Nakul and her parents.... A case of hurting the people we love the most, because we dont know who else to strike out at... inexcusable, but human.

After watching last night's episode i feel that abhi is insecure because of nakul and the fact he is ( so called ) d perfect guy for simi .

He's smitten or as we say "whopped" by Simi, who frankly speaking is a 30 year old frumpy woman who has demonstrated nothing that would appeal to a 22 year old guy. Abhi's totally screwed up in the head. Yep, he wants to hurt her because he gives a damn that she, Simi, might not like him. As for Simi, does she like him? She's done nothing in the past two weeks to show that she gives a toss. She's more worried that people will see her with Abhi while someone is talking about her rishta. DING DING DING (bell ringing). I mean why does she give a toss if this rishta was put at risk???

So Abhi hit back at her. No, he didn't deserve a slap, he deserved a swift kick up the rear for giving a damn about someone who really does not care for him in the same way.
