Neil Bhatt missing Mumbai

All Delhi-based actors in 12/24 Karol Bagh are happy about the fact that they can continue their career in acting without moving out of their hometown, since the serial is being shot in Delhi. However, for Mumbai based actors it is just the opposite. While they are liking the work, they are missing the hustle and bustle of the commercial capital of India badly. Take Neil Bhatt for example.

A couple of months back when the actor of Arsalan fame got the role of Abhi in Karol Bagh he was very happy. The role was good, the show was high profile and it was the perfect opportunity to showcase his talent to the entire nation. For an actor who has always tried to be different on screen (whether it's a super hero or a lover boy), the unexplored concept in Indian television of a young boy falling for an elder woman was a big and good break.

Though he is still very happy at having taken up the show, he is missing his hometown -- Mumbai -- badly. Says Neil, "When I first went to Delhi, it was completely new to me. The people, the place...everything was unknown. And since, the majority of the cast is from Delhi, I was kind of unsure on how to open up in front of everyone. But the way the entire unit welcomed me, I felt very happy and at home. But, I must say, few months down the line, I am missing Mumbai badly."

Does the harsh winter of Delhi have a role to play in this? Neil smiles before answering, "Well.. I am a very adaptable person in real life, can easily adjust to different conditions. Just yesterday, I shot with winter jackets in the show. This was the first time in the show I am wearing winter gear and am feeling happy about it!"

So, what is the future of Abhi and Simi in Karol Bagh? When are they going to tie the knot? "Right now Abhi's mother has come up with a proposal for Simiji. But, since we are so much in love with each other, we are going to overcome that as well. Like a through gentleman, Abhinav will not run away but wait for everybody to agree to the proposal. It will be an interesting conclusion to the love story!" says Neil refusing to divulge anything else.
