Before starting with my blabbering let me say that I appreciate by dear updaters of this forum👏 ...what updaters do..Annex can never do it..so a huge round of applause to them👏👏 and my sincere request to all Annex buddies please read the updates first before coming to Annex because Annex is only giving a very detailed line by line twisted review😆 and not exactly a update😃.So until and unless u read the update first no way Annex review will go in anyone's bheja(mind)😆😆....
Jyoti has been parceled off to Germany for work, so we will take rounds again to keep the Adda Annex Thread running while she is beschaftigt (busy in german 😆....excuse me if its wrong...i found it in the online translator 😳)
Before I embark on my non-sense trip....here's a disclaimer.....there are many a things in this show that is not striking the right chord with me.....I hate to say that I like it, but only and merely in parts.....but while I was watching today's episode, i got into a "pondering" mode surprisingly.....the character portrayals and the story is making me "think"...not necessarily in an eclectic way though !
So, instead of giving a detailed update like Jyoti does, I will pen dwn my thoughts exactly how they occured to me...i hope i don't disappoint you lovely people who are reading it with great expectations...
---------------------------------
Crux of the Episode:
Kunal Verma leaves his family startled at his changing tastes and preferences for things and people, some are happy with it, some not so much. He realizes he is having a strange feeling for the maid. A very cliche MU starts between the sisters, thanks to not-so-needed half baked communication
Status, Class, Mass:
While Karishma Mehra was visibly very much shaken at jethji's decision to marry Mohit off to the middle-class Nisha...Kunal Mehra assured her that when it comes to "dil ki baat", class, mass and status does not matter 👏...ohh that was well said indeed.
I kind of get karishma's apprehension because the ways of life primarily has a huge gap when it comes to the "rich stratum" vis-a-vis the "ordinary middle class".....i also get Kunal mehra's POV...when it comes to love, all that matters is compatibility...the rest can anyway be figured out.....its merely a clash of placated, closed thoughts and high-handed-ness, albeit unnecessary (may be)
and it was awesome when he rightly pointed out that they have done a rishta with the Gujrals, not a trading deal..👏👏...Karishma does need to understand this...
The Budding Romance:
So it was a small session of VeLi romancing in the garden....up until now all nok-jhonks seemed fun to me...God knows why but I just cannot get myself to like this new pair...its everything.....from Mooli's horrible horrible horrible accent, complete lack of expressions to the forced chemistry....sorry to say, but since Mooli simply fails to "portray" emotion, Veeru's emotional gestures seem very aggressive.....and the scenes are sadly anything but treat for the eyes....
when it rains, it pours....so while Mooli was trying to keep Veeru at bay by spraying water at him, heaven stated pouring in, making it a futile effort...god's razamandi as Veeru called it.....but I think God was actually crying seeing this unbelievably bad chemistry.....see, it's all about nazariya after all 😆
i see no romance in this romantic journey, so far 🤢
Yeh Haseen Vaadiyan?
HELL WHY? this composition is one of my most most favorites !!! Did they just HAVE to ruin it like this? what was the logic for incoroprating and butchering this priceless creation? 😡 Whatever...
So Shamoli runs to get the clothes she left for drying.....the Mehra's dont have a Washer-Drier? ummm may be they are eco-friendly !!!
and now Shamoli gets all wet and Kunal Mehra catches a glimpse of her....and there's goes my bheja....👎🏼
I sincerely apologize but just have to admit that Mooli is perhaps the first female lead whom i found not even an iota close to looking sensuous or beautiful when wet !!!.....the girl is pretty i am sure...but all i could see in her was her glares and NOTHING MORE !!! where was the innocence, the charm, the sensuousness the cameraman was desperately trying to capture? where was it? a rain sequence like this is supposed to be dreamy.....a dream that will become recurrent later for the male protagonist !!! But My god !!! where was the dream? not in Mooli for sure !! I am sure many will hate me for writing like this, but what to do !!! In a sequence like this, that is what you expect...you expect a visual that will take your breath away.....where was it? it gave me a headache instead
and what is Kunal Mehra falling for? well, falling for maids is not a new discovery in human history....desi and videshi namuna's are at our fingertips....for example - maid in manhattan....wahan bhi J Lo was a maid !! But then the hero fell for her thanks to her personality and strength of character and beauty of course......yahan, what is Mr. Mehra falling for? they say she is a beauty to behold !! par i have tried watching her intently, aankhein phad phad ke...i see no beauty on screen....beauty is not superficial and that's where Mooli - the actor and the character fails....i couldn't care less if she is photogenic..she must be...but when it comes to her portraying Mooli....what does she offer us? The only thing which Mooli - teh character puts across is her vengeance against the rich and men who are out there to exploit the poors like her....else she FAILS to express the beautiful, lovable side of hers.....she only glares and glares and glares.....her smile, her speech, her expressions are otherwise a DUD !! 👎🏼
So when Kunal Mehra is shown falling for Mooli...is it mere lust? because what strength of character has he otherwise seen in that girl? well, she's honest and fiesty...so what? enough to enchant another human? naah !! more is needed...
I am completely phased out after this scene....
Karishma Mehra brings me back to senses though.....she concludes by nudging KM's senses as to why he has changed so much as a person !! well, I am confused too !!

Episode: 5/10.....all the 5 points are the brownie points gained by Karishma Mehra - her acting
Acting:
Urvashi Dholakia is a stunner...fantastic portrayal, dialogue delivery....👏
Aman Verma was passable, not bad 👏
Karan Kundra - dude I am yet to get hooked to Veeru...its not your fault...you do your part dedicatedly I'm sure..its just that your character lacks that "extra punch" to knock off the senses...
Sumana Das - darling can u please brush up your accent and acting? PLEASE? its becoming painful now since you take up quite a lot of the screen space/time
Priyamvada Kant - your role has nothing yet, but you still were a respite today beside Shamoli
