Is it that essential for us to have a good-looking suitor for Simi to reject as means of dealing with all the rejections she has faced in her life? Is not the arrival of Abhi supposed to compensate for it? It's minimizing the essence of their relationship or the role it plays. Abhi is a kind of a person who will first make sure he is able to take care of simi before marrying her that means simi is the last person to marry in the house. I am sure they are taking the story right way and we will see abhi simi story grwing into a very mature relationship. Something like ek vivah aisa bhi story,
So if Abhi is the love of her life, why do we need another suitor for her to reject in order to prove she is worthy? It does not even keep in line with what the overall concept of what the show is all about. It's done because people want to watch a love triangle as a storyline and it appears as the only obstacle the creative team can come up with and it appeals to the public. If we don't want it, why do we support it by even pleading with the creative team to make him good looking - what is the purpose behind if the desire for Simi and Abhi to end up together.
