Scene One:

"Garewal's at Dinner":

Abbaji: Yeh Rahul kaahan hain? (he asked as Ridzi served him his favorite dish)

Amma ji: Voh dostoon kay saath Bahir gaya hain…

Armaan: Uskay liye sub jaiyaz hain… hmmph…! aur mujahy shaadi kay paanch saal baad, aik bachay ka baap banay kay baad bhi ghar se bahir dostoon kay saath raat kay aath bajaey kay baad rehnay ki ijazzat nahi hain… (he said in a scornful tone as his wife looked up at him in anger)

Abbaji: Tumahy issi liye ijazzat nahi hain kay tum shaadi shuda ho aur aik bachay kay baap ho, ghar se bahir reh kar kya karo gay…?

Armaan: (looks at Ridzi who was clearly upset but that didn't stop Armaan from saying what he wanted to) Koi waqt saath ghuzaarna chahay toh na… (Ridzi just looks away as Nikki giggles and Abhi shakes his head at the ridiculous situation)

Ammaji: Armi, kya hogay hain beta, abhi toh usnay phar phar kay graduate kiya hain, thodi dair kay liye dost ki shaadi mein chala gaya toh iss mein itni buri baat kya hain… dil behal jaaye ga uska(she said supporting her favorite and spoiled youngest son)

Abbaji: Hmm uski bhi khabar lay ne paray gee, kahein dil behlatay behlatay dooston kay saath dil laga na lay…kya kehti hain theek keh raha hoon na?

Ammaji: jee bilqual…(she agreed quietly with the man of the house)

Abbaji: Hmm, toh Abhi tumharay barey mein bhi maine aik faisla kya hain…(he turned to ABhi who had just finished his plate of Chicken curry and was least interested in dinner with the chaotic family)

Abhi: Phir se? (blurts out on accident and Abbaji gives him the "be quite" look and he follows)

Abbaji: Haan to main keh raha tha kay maine faisla kiya…

Armaan: (interrupts) Please Abbaji …app kay faislay humnay bahut bughat liye…(Abbaji and the rest of the family gives killer looks at Armaan who was venting without thinking at the moment)

Ridzi: (looks disgusted at her pathetic husband, then tries to break the ice) Armaan Abbaji se aisey baat kartey hain, app kp bilqual bhi tameez nahi hain baroo se baat karnay ki…? (Armaan looks guilty like a kid who has been scolded by his mother)

Abbaji: haan dekha, yeh huyi na beytiyoon waali baat…kitna theek kaha iss ne, kuch seekho Armaan, kuch seekho…(Armaan rolls his eyes and continues with his dinner as everyone gets back to eating once again)

Abhi: Toh kya keh rahay thay aap Abbaji?

Abbaji: Haan voh main keh raha tha kay tum aur Nikita…voh…voh kya kehtay hain…kya…haan voh, Honeymoon…honeymoon per chalay jao..!

Abhi: (mouth drops at the completion of his father's sentence, the expression was priceless)

Nikita: (jumps up excitedly without realizing where she is) Honeymoon! Hum..Honeymoon per! (Everyone looks at her and she finally picks up the hint of embarrassment so she sits back down as Abhi looks at Armaan helplessly who shrugs his shoulders and continues to eat)

Scene 2

~Rahul at a friend's Wedding Avenue~

Rahul: Oye nahi! Itnay paisoon mein toh hum naye jootey na khareed lay…!

Random Girl: Jee nahi hum apni price se aik paisa bhikum nahi karay gay…

Rahul: Excuse me! app koi sabzi khareednay nahi aaye hain yahaan… (Just as he was about to leave the girl without a counter argument someone's chirpy voice came from behind, a girl dressed in a yellow-greenish lehnga, looking absolutely stunning steps in front. Rahul and his friends were left speechless, There was something about her that made rahul's heart skip a beat or two as he looked at her for the first time.)

Vicky: (nudges Rahul) Oye Rahul bolti kyun band hogaye…meray jootey…kuch kar?

Rahul: huh?...haan…I mean thand rakh yaar…kuch kartey hain

Another girl: (whispers) Dekh na Muski, yeh kub se zidd per aray hain, humaray paisay nahi de rahay hain…

Muskaan: (smiles and replies loudly) Toh hum bhi kuch kum nahi Naina…Main apni baat hamesha he manwa leyti hain toh yeh kis keht ki muli (reddish) hain…

Rahul: Muli?! What? Ms…

Muskaan: Naam ki kya zaroorat hain kaam ki baat karay..! (she proudly said stepping in front of him)

Rahul: (for the first time he was lost in someone's eyes, her smile, her confidence, her big brown sparkling eyes)

Muskaan: Aye Mister! Aisay kya dekh arhay ho? (she backed away)

Rahul: Uhh..nahi kuch nahi…Oye Sanjay mujhay nahi lagta yeh maanay waali hain, kya karay? (he consulted another one of his friends who was standing next to him)

Sonia: Good job Muski! Acha hua tu agaye… (one of Muski's friends quitely whsipers in her ear)

Muskaan: Arey yaar bahut dekhay hain aisey…yeh kuch zaayda he over smart hain per main koi kum ho…(she high Fived her friend before turning back to Rahul and his friends)

Rahul: Toh Ms Gumnaam app ko paisay chiyay hain?

Muskaan: Jee Mr…

Rahul: Rahul… I am Rahul

Muskaan: Haan Mr. Rahul agar aap ko apnay dost kay jotey chiyay toh humay humaray paisay…

Rahul: Fine jotey rakh do hum Paisay rakh day gay…

Muskaan: Aisay kaisay? Pehlay paisay…

Naina:Yeh theek keh rahi hain, pehlay Paisay…

Sanjay: Haan toh Rahul bhi koi fazool mein nahi bol raha hain…

Muskaan: Arey aik kaam kartay hain…

Rahul: aur voh kya?

Muskaan: hum dono aik saath…

Rahul: (dreamily) aik saath!

Muskaan: jee aik saath… (giggling with other girls as they make fun of him)

Sanjay: (noticing Rahul's dazed tone) Oye kya kar raha hain! Snap out of it!

Rahul: Oh..uh…haan..! kya keh rahi thi app?

Muskaan: yahi kay hum aik saath jotey aur app paisay yahi beech main rakhay gay….

Rahul: (looks over at his group of friends for agreement) kya maznoor hain?

Guys: Ofcourse! Bus jaldi kar inhay yahaan se bhagha

Rahul: (turns to muski) Theek hain, yeh rahay aap kay paisay (he holds up the money for the girls)

Muskaan: (takes out the shoes as she had them hidden behind her) Aur yeh rahay jotey…

Rahul: Theek hain toh phir 3 tak gin kar jotey aur paisay exchange karay gay…

Muskaan: Theek hain…1, 2…

Rahul: 3…! (at the count of three they both put down the Shoes and the Money, and before Rahul had the chance to actually make real conversation with an unnamed but gorgeous girl, she disappears with her friends)

Scene 3

~Abhi and Nikki's room at Night~

Nikki: Abhi aur kya kya pack karo honey moon per janay kay liye…?

Abhi: (rolls his eyes) Dekho hum koi 6 mahino kay liye nahi jarahay sirf aik haftey ya phir dus din kay liye aur tum toh aisay packing kar rahi hoon jaisey pata nahi kitnay dinon kay liye…

Nikki: Nahi abhi pata nahi kya hojaye vahaan per, bearish, snow fall, garmi, toofaan…! (she said dramatically)

Abhi: Tofaan! Pagal ho gaye ho kya, Shimla kay kaun se hill station per tofaan ata hain?

Nikki: Lakin filmoon mein toh…

Abhi: Oh please Nikkita! You are too much, har cheez ko apnay fazool dramo aur filmoon se compare na kya karo…shamajh aye! Grow up! (he said angrily and stomps out the bedroom with his newspaper)

Nikki: ( makes a pouting face then talks to herself innocently) Uff yeh bhi na…kahir choro mujhay abhi achi achi sariyaan select karni hain aur matching shirts bhi nikal le hain bilqual shahrukh aur Ashwariya ki tarah…(she starts to hum the mohabbatein song while packing)

Scene 4

~Armaan and Ridzi's Room at Night~

Riddhima is calculating the household expenses on the side of the bed with a calculator in her hand and Armaan comes out the restroom changed in his night suit…he makes his way to Riddhima who is busy punching in numbers in the calculator.

Armaan: Tumhay yaad hain jub hum honeymoon per gaye thay…?

Ridzi: (without noticing Armaan's smile she answers still busy with the calculator) Hmm yaad hain, by road gaye thay na aur tum toh intnay smart ho kay aik spare wheel bhi rakhna bhool gaye thay…2 ghantay highway per pagloon ki tarah intezaar karna para tha…tumhari vajah se

Armaan: (irritated) tum hameesha voh baatein kyun yaad rakhti hoon jo tumhay bhool jani chiyay thi…kahir main sooch raha tha kay…

Ridzi: (cuts him off and looks up at him) Darling please… tum kuch mat soocha karo kyunki agar tum soochtay ho toh meary jaisay normal loog kafi dair kay liye soochnay aur shamajhnay kay qabil nahi reh patey… please (She gets back to work)

Armaan: Kya tum kabhi meri baat aik wife ki tarah nahi sunn sakti…huh? Actually main keh raha tha kya…voh…(he is smiling while searching for his words) kyun na hum bhi…Nikkita aur Abhi kay saath chalay honeymoon per..?

Ridzi: (snaps) Kyun! voh dono kya bachay hain jo unko apna honeymoon celebrate kartey huye darr lagta hain? (rolls her eyes)

Armaan: Dekho na kuch achi memories hain na humaray honeymoon se toh kyun na hum dosri baar…(he said fixing his thick glasses but was cut off)

Ridzi: Armaan achi memories toh humarai shaadi se bhi hain toh kya hum dono dobara shaadi kar lay…? Tumhay yaad hain humari sangeet waalay din kya hua tha, aag lag gaye thi ghar kyunki tum apnay doostoon kay saath pahtakhay phor rahay thay, fireworks ghar kay ander nahi bahir hotey hain itna bhi nahi pata tha…aur phir shaadi waalay din gahr mein chooroon ko bhi bula liya tha mehmanoon kay saath…"achi memories"..hmmph…!

Armaan: Maine kaha na tum hameesha galat baatein he yaad rakhti hoon…anyways..kya kar rahi hoon dekhao..(he takes the notebook from her hand)

Ridzi: Arey Armaan…

Armaan: (looking through it) Yeh toh ghar ka budget hain, Abbaji ne mujhay idya tha calculate kar nay kay liye…aur maine toh kar bhi diya tha…

Ridzi: Haan bilqual apnay jaisa…addha kaam kiya, sirf 6 months ka budget banaya, saal mein 12 months hotey hain yeh bhi nahi pata…

Armaan: (imitates her and makes a face, then hands her the notebook back) Jo karna hain karo main sonay jaraha raha hoon..!

Ridzi: (taking the notebook back she watches Armaan go towards their bed and smiles to herself and then to irritate him even more she yells out a cheesy ) Good night Jaanu!

Armaan: (makes a face, then smiles to himself and closes his eyes without responding, he knew she loved him and only him at the end of the day)
