Success of Bidaai and Yeh Rishta at Telly Awards

The Ninth Indian Telly Awards, which happened last weekend in Mumbai, was very lucky for the entire star cast of two Star Plus shows Sapna Baabul Ka Bidaai and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai , which got the much desreved fame and name through these awards.
We spoke to Hina Khan (Akshara) of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata as she got the fresh female face of the year award, "I had never imagined that my first role will be loved and appreciated by all. Now with this award I will work hard so that my character will be nominated next year in a different category. This recognition means a lot for me."
Further, we spoke to the delighted producer of both the shows Rajan Shahi, "I am very happy that Bidaai for the second time in a row got the award, as last year it has got an award for the best drama series and now for the best continuing drama show. Not only this even Yeh Rishta got two awards, which is commendable so now we are looking forward for the Indian Television Academy awards. I am hoping that we will shine in the coming awards also."
About both the tracks, he said that, "Lots more is in store in the coming episodes of Bidaai and Yeh Rishta ,so I would like to tell the audience to watch both the shows."
Apart from these two shows at ITA (Indian Telly Awards) Shh Phir Koi Hai (Best Thriller) and Aap Ki Kachehri (Popular Programme with a social message) won awards too. Rajeev won popular anchor for Sach Ka Saamna. So overall Star shows ruled at the 9th ITA,2009.
