The theatrical promo of Karan Johar's My Name is Khan will premiere on December 18. It is being attached to Fox's new Hollywood movie Avatar being directed by James Cameron.

This is the first time a major Hollywood studio has picked up a Indian movie for distribution and the people at Fox intend to release the promo of this Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol starrer along with Avatar in several cities with a heavy concentration of NRIs.

Btw, do you guys think having Fox in the mix is a bad idea, given what happened with Saawariya (Sony) and CC2C (WB)? It's like Hollywood jinxes bollywood movies. 😆

Please...let's just hope not...I haven't seen SRK get so excited over a movie since Don...and it really takes a lot for him to genuinely appreciate his own movie...so I really wish it works for him😳

Oh I know. I want this movie to work really bad. And it's SRK-Kajol together after AGES! It's just my paranoid brain thinking about Hollywood's past with bolly. But, are they going to be releasing MNIK promos in English theatres as well? Or JUST the Indian ones which might play Avatar?
