Manav Gohil to play journalist

Manav Gohil is all set to play a journalist named Lakshya in Manish Goswami's Sarrkar. Gohil says, "Manish Goswami and I were trying to work things out for a while. It is only a cameo and Sarrkar is a no nonsense series so I thought why not?"
Talking about the role he says, "Lakshya is upfront, honest and young. I won't say it's a character which no one has seen or done before but yes it gives me a lot of scope to emote. I will essay a positive character after a long time."
Producer Manish Goswami says, "I always wanted to work with Manav and this time around things worked out between us. He will play a cameo for 30-40 episodes depending on how his character develops. He will be Urvashi's( Tisca Chopra) saviour."
