ok, wat he said todayreally got me thinking ...

"kuch log yahaan pe hote hain, jo apne group ke alava kahin aur dekhte hi nahi hain..kabhi baki logon se poocha hain ki unhe kaisa laga hoga?"

well..we all know that samrat and his famous "gang" of chako, dia, benji, uday etc ...feel that they are the BEST! they do not let nebody mix wit them soo easily..even when nups and gunjan entered in excel 1 yr ago...or even now when adhiraj is here..or when RV was ther..they never let neone become a part of their "gang" soo soon..

hence even now, more than nups and gunjan, dia chacko benji n sam are obsessed wit adhiraj..

I was jus wondering...are we/were we like this in coll and school wrt our groups?? I can confess that back in school we were a huge gang of 10 ppl or so..and we all retained our groups even after entering junior coll, hence in junior coll when ther wer ppl from other schools who had tried to mix wit us..ther wer only a selected few whom we cud actually say as a part of "our group" initially... we wer all soo immature! 😆

was it the same wit u all too? 😊

partially same mads

it depends mainly on 2 things
first one is, if we have a already formed gang, many a tyms, we dont bother much abt other non-gang members ... it doesn't matter whether we have frnds other than the gang members or not..
even multi-gangs.... like a single person may diffeent groups of frnds - here there is nothing like ppl frm different group should know each other well, should b very frndly with each other as they have a common frnd

secondly, it depends on the person who is going 2 enter the gang... their mind-set...their frequncy of mind (not the opinions... they may vary)
for eg... a person like RV can never fir in to this grp.... no matter whether he is a frnd of dia or not

Mads, honestly yeah it is!
Im in school now, so full experience hai 😆
Im in a "gang" of 6-7, just close friends, but sometimes it tends to be a "gang" of 11-12 because our "gang" joins with oanother "gang" which we are friends with. just friends.
But i agree, i mean ive never really looked at staying anywhere other than my "gang"
But im not gonna say we dont let anyone one in easily, that would be lieing. Lol i cant remeber when our "gang" went from a group of 4 to 7 😆 but it took 3 years. So we had time to see whether they were trustable or not.
ANyway enough about my life.
I reckon schools/colleges are divided and segragated into catorgaries.
you have the....
"cool gang"
"nerd gang"
"girlies"
"bad boys"
and most of the time the groups tend to be made according to race and colour. (no racism intended but its true) i mean in my "gang" were ALL asians, but we didnt make it out to be like that, it just happened. The "bad boys" are the "black" guys, and the "girlies" are the "white" girls.
It may sound racist but it is actually very true. Im sure in any multicultural college/school, this exists.
and also people like RV and Sheen-ah are not the type to fit into "the gang" no matter whos friends they are. I mean Gunjan and Nupur were Dia's COUSIN SISTERS yet they wernt in that early. coz they wernt the "cool" lol
Sad but true...
we never look at people outside our groups according to my personal experence.
PS - seriosuly there is no racism intended in my post, im a sociology student, im just stating the facts. 😊

tis but the truth, mads (trying archaic here *smirks*)

And I have seen it from the outsider POV...both in school and in college!

In first year we were always the outsiders..the ones who werent in any group...and we always felt excluded!

Even then our class was the BEST from the other years...NOW though our class has become a warzone with literally an equator dividing the class physically and psychologically 😆😆

Finally though..in third year...I am in a "group" ....though Imight not like all members of my group

Thats another thing to think about....everyone doesn't like everyone else in the group..the group is made as a social convenience mostly rather than for true friendship. Thats what I have seen mostly

Yeah..i kinda think he is right.. sadly..cause the Excel cool gang (sam, diya, uday, benji, nupur, gunjan, mayank, chako, and annie and partially CJ) they are shown as the coolest group and everyone looks up them and like..they arent shown to care about everyone..like..have we seen them care for anyone else outside there gang? i mean..i dont know..I think he is right..kinda..
