yeah but Abishek is on the list and i dont think he have proved himself so much as an actor so thats why i dont get how Akshay is not there i mean Akshay have acted very well in some movies specially in some of hes emtional movies so i think if Abishek is here than akshay deserve it to and even Salman i think he proved in Tere Naam that he can act!

Well these things are subjective, but according to me Abhishek in Yuva or even KANK beats out Salman or Akshay in any of their movies. I didn't like Salman much in Tere Naam and I still can't come up with a good Akshay Kumar performance - maybe Hera Pheri. But overall I don't think Abhishek is that great, just better than these two.

Seriously did they just pluck and place Nasseruddin Shah so people would take them seriously?

This list makes no clear sense to me. I'm not sure who its trying to appeal to?

I think they are picking people based on a particular year. So Sanjay Dutt got in because of Vastav which is around 1999-2000 and Naseeruddin Shah for A Wednesday. I don't think its supposed to be best acting consistently or anything. Or atleast that is how they are justifying their choices.

Thanks, that makes some sort of sense. But Vaastav released in 1999..... Does that still count?

Anyway it just seems like Nasseruddin Shah was used as a quota filler here. I get the feeling they were trying to appeal the masses as well as the critics but they fell short somewhere.
