Pooja Tandon on her Perfect Bride experience

Pooja Tondon, a Punjabi actress and one of the contestants of Perfect Bride, who became every mother's choice for their son was eliminated with lots of drama on the show. She speaks with us about her experience on the show.

How was your journey on Lux Perfect Bride?
"It started very good and I had liked the concept of the show which had 5 moms and 9 brides who had to stay under the same roof. Earlier it was very difficult to know them and to adjust with all of them. However, later on everything went fine.

I was happy that in the first week itself I was chosen as Bride of the week and from there onwards all the 8 brides considered me as a fake and so the journey was both mixed, so it was overall a good journey."

What was the reason behind your elimination?
"I knew that the day when I declined Hitesh's proposal, their behaviour towards me changed a lot and I knew that Hitesh's mom will now eliminate me as it was expected and from the day one, I had mentioned that I have come here to be the Perfect bride and not to marry anyone as the show is all about choosing the perfect Bride.

I am glad that I am out of the show as there was lots of politics happening in the Mummy Mahal and Hitesh's mom does everything."

Anything you want to say about Hitesh's mom?
"Oh! lots of things, she is the biggest fake lady I have ever seen in my life. She is so dominating that all the other mummies are scared of her. Before the rejection of his proposal, every mom was eager to be with me but they were scared and so they all were allowing me to go with Hitesh. As she was not ready to see me with any other Kunwar.

The reason behind their participation in the show is that both want to act and I remember, she had told me that I am getting lots of film offers. Even Hitesh is a fake and in short both are a complete package."

What about Hitesh?
"What will I comment on him as I was very upset when there was a fight between Vivek and Hitesh. I don't want to answer anymore."

Ok, amongst all the brides, with whom you would like to be in touch?
"Frankly speaking, with nobody because everyone used to consider me as a fake and they were thinking that I am doing this because I am very beautiful and talented. I am upset with Gurpreet the way she insulted me on the show, it was a real shocker."

Ok, what about the grooms?
"With no one..."

Who was your support in the show?
"It was none other than Rajbeer's mom, she supported me through out and she was very fond of me."

Amongst the three judges, who are your favourites?
"Shekhar Suman. He used to be a perfect observer and used to analyse things properly and even Malaika Arora Khan was very upset on the day of my elimination, she said to me that I am the perfect bride so I really don't want to comment."

So, now what after Perfect Bride?
"Well, I will be now concentrating on my pending film projects and I am also getting good offers for Hindi films, so I am just looking forward to my career to get settled and I am happy that through this show I am now recognized all over India.

I am thankful to Star Plus who has given me such exposure and even in the show they have really taken good care of us. People are recognizing me and all are telling me that we are happy that you are out from the clutches of Hitesh mom."

What are your expectations from a life partner?
Good looking, fit, compatible, well educated and settled in life.

she knws that in this show she has to get married or engaged her elimination was preplanned guys.i heard from somewhr that his dad requested the show producers to eliminate her as she got an offer opposite harman baweja as a heroine in his dad's production house.

she sayinf every girl used to think that she is fake na and in this article she herself proved her fake by saying k iam thankful to star 4 giving exposure and all and she said k i wanted to be the perfect bride only haha what a girl there was a time that she was so fond of hitesh's mom and shwo quit karte he started bashing her gud gng pooja gud now what will pl say about her and she is so hoshyara haan she talked gud about raj's mom very sharp girl😆😆raj k na milne ka ghum kafi hoga usko lolzzz😆😆

She says that everyone thought that she is a fake because she is beautiful and talented.
Gurpreet's quote was right that she does not have any features except for light eyes. She seriously wanted to be a perfect bride so that she gets all the money to do plastic surgery on her broad forehead and big nose.

Pooja looks very nice, very elegant and very cultured.

She is the Perfect Bride. Without Pooja in the show the show has become common place, nothing much to watch..

No girls should come on the show thinking they will get married in 7 weeks and they will find the perfect groom and the groom will be ready to marry them.

Two most well settled and decent boys Yash and Vivek don't want to get married on the show..so they must be fake tooo....

The show is about journey, if somebody does find perfect partner (very little chance in 7 weeks) otherwise you learn a lot through interaction.
