Nirbhay's men attack Birju outside the mandir. He tries to fight them off, but they all surround him while Nirbhay comes along and points his gun to his forehead. He tells him they never should have left him alive. He has brought dishonour on their family, and Nirbhay cannot forgive him for that.
Sargam and the little girl are watching this while hiding behind a cart. Sargam pushes another cart in their direction just as Nirbhay is about to shoot, the cart hits him and pushes him to the ground. Birju runs away and Sargam throws red powder towards Nirbhay and his men and they are unable to see anything.
Sargam grabs Birju's hand as he runs past them, she pulls him along with her and they run off. Nirbhay is extremely frustrated. Sargam questions Birju about his love for Bela. Birju answers he can do anything for her, even give his life. He'll always keep her happy. Sargam seems convinced.
Back at the haveli Bela's mehndi ceremony is taking place. Sargam comes back and applies henna on Bela too as she looks on sadly.
Nirbhay is yelling at his men for not being able to catch Birju. He tells them to find and kill him before Bela's wedding. Dadaji tells Nirbhay that he is very disappointed with him. He asks him to ensure there is full security all around the haveli so Birju cannot enter and this time he needs to do better. Nirbhay nods.
Bela is sitting in her room and Sargam comes in with her wedding dress, sent by Dadi. Dadi says she is pleased with Sargam for accepting this compromise. She sheds a tear as she realizes how fast Bela grew up and that she will be leaving this house today. Dadi tells Sargam to get Bela ready quickly as the baraat would be arriving soon.
Precap: The wedding is taking place. Bela comes down and sits next to Bhanu. When she is asked to put her hand on top of Bhanu's, she faints. Everyone is shocked and Sargam shouts that Bela has drank poison :(
