I have no idea what I was thinking when I decided to write a dream I had into a shot...but yes that is what it is 😛 there have been a few modifications...but meh 😛 Enjoy! 😃

"You're coming to the farmhouse as well?" Meera's mouth dropped open.

"Haan, koi takleef?" Harshad grinned at her.

"Nahin to. Why would it be a problem for me?" She answered in a timid voice.

"Because you can't deny it."

"Deny what?" She blinked innocently.

"How attracted you are to me."

Meera's mouth dropped lower than it ever had. "I can't believe you even said that."

"Was I not supposed to?" Harshad replied cheekily.

Meera narrowed her eyes and frowned. "Just get in the car."

"Helps if everyone else comes out too right?" He leaned towards her till she rolled her eyes and pushed him away.

He smirked at her while everyone else came out of the house. Without waiting for any instruction, Meera got in the backseat directly behind the passenger side.

"I call shotgun," Harshad smirked as he sat down in front of Meera.

Aditya looked at Harshad with a frown and he shrugged in response.

The two remaining girls, Aradhna and Bhavna got into the backseat with Meera. Adi thankfully put on music limiting all chance for conversation.

Through his side view mirror Harshad kept staring Meera who despite not wanting to found herself staring back.

Without paying attention to anything Radz took out a book from her bag and buried her nose into it, not noticing the way Harshad grabbed Meera's hand from the side of his seat.

Slowly soft snores came from the back seat and they all saw Bhav fast asleep with her head resting on Meera's shoulder who smiled softly.

Adi immediately lowered the volume and Radz groaned. "At least she can sleep."

"You're reading a book," Harshad pointed out.

"You can't sleep?" Adi asked at the same time.

"I'm reading cus I can't sleep." Radz argued. "And no I can't sleep. The sun's too warm."

"Do you want to come sit up here and I'll take your seat?" Harshad offered, getting a glare from Meera.

"Yes please!" Radz grinned and Adi slowed down pulling off to the side of the road.

Harshad and Radz exchanged seats and Meera found herself getting some full frontal stares from Adi, judging her reaction.

"What?" she snapped.

"Nothing."

"Look in front! I don't have any whim to die!" She turned to stare out the window.

"Whim or no whim, you're not gonna die," Harshad rolled his eyes.

"Oh and you know this because?" Meera narrowed her eyes till she realized Bhav was still asleep on her shoulder and stopped moving.

"Because it's Adi." Harshad pointed out. "Remember? Good driver?"

Meera rolled her eyes and looked away again. "Shush,"

"You shush,"

Radz smirked at Adi who smiled back. They both knew that the other two in the back were acting idiotic with each other.

Three hours later when Adi stopped the car Bhav's head fell forward and hit her bag on her lap. "Ouch! God Adi—way to drive the car."

Adi narrowed his eyes in the rear view mirror. "It's called a seatbelt."

"It's called brake lightly!" She glared before pushing Harshad out of the car. "Move!"

"God—grumpy and sleepy." He rubbed at his arm.

"You must be dopey then?" Meera grinned before following Bhav into the farmhouse.

"Why does she get on my nerves?" Harshad muttered as he went to the trunk to get out the bags.

"Because you let her," Adi grinned. "Try not to let her bother you much."

"Uh huh," Harshad smirked. "The way Bhav doesn't bother you."

"How do you know—" Adi gaped at Harshad before going slightly pink.

Harshad shrugged. "And that—is what they call bashful."

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

"This is your farmhouse?" Meera looked around the huge house.

"Yeah," Adi nodded. "What'd you expect?"

"Umm something small, and dark and made of bricks or something," Bhav shook her head. "This is a normal house."

"It's like a vacation house," Radz smiled. "They call those farmhouses here."

"Right," Bhav rolled her eyes and turned to Meera who grinned back.

"What did you girls pack in here?" Harshad groaned walking into the farmhouse. "We're only here for like 3 days."

All three girls turned and glared at Harshad who silently walked up the stairs with his head hanging knowing he wouldn't win this argument.

"Don't you love the way he went upstairs?" Radz grinned as Harshad walked out of sight.

"You girls are mean," Adi commented.

"Right and you're not? Mr. I don't know how to apply brakes." Bhav narrowed her eyes at Adi.

"Bhav—I applied the brakes just fine. If you put on your seatbelt nothing would have happened." Adi glared back.

"Oh whatever." Bhav crossed her arms.

"No—listen; did Harshad or Meera get hurt? No. Because they were smart enough to wear seatbelts." Adi grinned back.

"I...I..." Bhav stammered.

"You?" Adi put his hand to his ear and leaned towards her.

"I hate you," She gritted her teeth before stomping off upstairs.

"Nice job Adi," Radz commented.

"You really know how to get a girl to like you," Meera nodded.

"Shut up." Adi grumbled before sitting on a bar stool. "Well what else do I say?"

Radz grinned. "As I am her best friend, I shall give you much needed advice." She put her arm around his neck. "What are friends for right?"

Meera smiled watching Radz fill Adi in on everything Bhav would like him to behave like before adding in her two cents. "Wait! Don't change Adi. She has to like you for who you are. Don't forget,"

"I wasn't planning on changing," Adi smiled as Meera trudged up the stairs. She gave him a thumbs up sign before disappearing into the hallway.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Which room is it?" Meera frowned as she looked at the four closed doors in the hallway.

"Not this one," Bhav grinned as she walked out of one.

Meera smiled back. "Can we talk?"

Bhav nodded. "Why are you asking?"

Meera shrugged as they walked into Bhav's room and sat on the bed. "It's a weird subject."

"Harshad?"

"What?" Meera's eyes went wide.

Bhav grinned. "I wasn't asleep the entire time in the car you know,"

"Bhav!" Meera gaped at her. "I can't believe you!"

Bhav shrugged. "Well at least I told you,"

Meera rolled her eyes. "Fine—yes him."

"What's wrong?" Bhav asked.

"I don't know B." Meera groaned. "He makes me nervous,"

"How exactly?" Bhav asked.

"Well—I don't know." Meera shrugged. "He's too...."

"Cute?" Bhav offered. "Fun? Adorable? Sweet?"

Meera narrowed her eyes at her. "Annoyingly weird."

"That too?" Bhav grinned.

"B—you don't get it. Or well—maybe you do?" Meera raised her eyebrow.

"I don't like that look—what's up?" Bhav backed away.

"Adi?" Meera grinned.

Bhav groaned. "No!"

"What no?" Meera frowned. "Don't deny it."

"Deny what?" Bhav got up and walked to the windowsill.

"Deny that Adi gives you those fluttering feelings."

"I don't have fluttering feelings." Bhav crossed her arms.

Meera grinned before putting her hand on Bhav's shoulder. "Your face says otherwise."

Bhav sighed. "Well what should I do?" She sat down on the bench. "I think—I do like him. But he just irritates me."

Meera shrugged. "Join the club?"

Bhav nodded. "How sad are we?"

"Extremely sad." Meera nodded sympathetically. "Anyways—just give him a chance okay?"

She walked towards the door.

"I will—if you do too," Bhav grinned.

Meera rolled her eyes dramatically. "We'll see."

"Wait! Why do I have to do it then?" Bhav asked.

"Because I'm older!" Meera smirked before leaving Bhav's room.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Crap, I forgot to ask which room was mine," Meera muttered as she moved on to the next door in the hallway. "I'll try this one."

Slowly Meera put her hand on the handle and creaked the door open. She stepped through the doorway and looked around the room till all of a sudden someone rammed into her and they both landed flat on the bed. A masculine hand covered her mouth and another hand went around her waist.

"Ssh!" She heard Harshad's voice.

"kgjdk kgjk," she mumbled through his hand.

"I don't care!" He whispered at her ear. "Just wait."

Meera rolled her eyes and lay there silently until finally Harshad moved his hands away from her and sat up on the bed.

"Bhaag gaya." He muttered.

"What?" Meera got up from the bed and frowned. "What are you talking about? And ah!! Go put on a shirt!"

Harshad glanced down at his torso and grinned before grabbing the shirt he left on the chair.

"Why are you walking around nakedly?"

"I was going for a shower when I heard the door creaking." He told her.

"That was me genius!" Meera rolled her eyes.

"Umm no—I saw someone near the drapes." He argued. "Shadow tha,"

Meera groaned before pulling the drapes back. "Your 'someone' was just a tree,"

"Oh." He looked down at his toes.

Meera rolled her eyes. "Don't feel bad."

"Who said I was?" Harshad grinned.

"Oh shush," Meera groaned before walking towards the door until Harshad grabbed her arm. "Wait,"

"What?" Meera turned and glared. "Let me go."

"Sit for awhile." He tugged her hand lightly towards the bed.

"Sit. With. You?" Meera continued staring at him. "What's wrong with you?"'

"With me? What's wrong with you?" He frowned. "It's not exactly a secret that I fancy you."

"You FANCY me?" Meera pressed her lips together and grinned. "Since when did we get transported back in time?"

"We haven't—I'm trying to impress with my chivalry now."

Meera nodded as she sat on his bed. "Nice—keep going."

Harshad smiled before going towards the mini fridge in his room. "What would you like to drink?"

"Okay NOW you sound more like a waiter than a normal guy trying to impress a girl," Meera grinned. "Just sit—and relax. I won't bite," Meera giggled remembering the time Bhav had used the line when they had been talking about tacky things guys would say.

"Right," Harshad frowned before sitting down across her on the bed. "Why are you giggling?"

"Oh—umm," Meera brought both her feet on the bed and sat crossed legged. "See there was this time when me and Bhav were uhem talking about weird things guys would say and she used that line for when a guy would be seducing a girl."

"Uh huh..." He nodded before smiling. "Sounds like something B would say,"

Meera's mouth dropped open. "You can't call her B! Only Radz and I can," she crossed her arms.

"You're weird you know that?" Harshad smiled softly at her.

"If I am—then you are too for liking me." Meera smirked back.

Harshad lay down on the bed, his eyes still on her face while their hands were intertwined. "I'll happily take it."

Meera rolled her eyes. "Don't you get tired?" She lay down next to him still staring at him.

"Tired of what?"

"Praising me and all this?"

He shrugged. "Not really. Do you not like it?"

"It's not that. I just—think it's too much at times?" Meera sighed. "I mean I know you like me—you obviously think I do as well."

"Correction—I KNOW you do,"

"Right," Meera sighed. "It's just...too much I think."

"So you want to cool it down?" Harshad asked.

"Basically," Meera sighed. "Or well I don't know. I'm too confused."

"Okay tell you what," Harshad smiled. "Let's pretend this night is with two people who like each other—and we'll go from there tomorrow. Does that work for you?"

Meera pondered over it for a bit before smiling. "Yeah it does."

"Great—let's start with simple stuff then."

"Wait a second. What are we starting?" Meera frowned.

"Getting to know each other," Harshad smiled. "Favourite actor? Wait never mind," He rolled his eyes. "Already knew that one. Stupid oldie."

Meera's mouth dropped open and she sat up on the bed. "You didn't just say that."

Harshad got up next to her and smiled. "Think I did actually."

"I can't believe you." She huffed.

"You can—since I'm right here." Harshad smirked.

"You take that back now," she glared at him.

"I don't think so." Harshad shrugged.

"Take it back!" she whined. "Or else."

"Or else WHAT?" Harshad raised his eyebrow.

"I'm gonna kill you!" She lunged for him and he held up his hands in defence pushing her back to her side of the bed, they finally landed with him on top of her and both of them breathing heavily.

Harshad saw Meera's eye close instantly and he smiled. He knew she was hoping that if she closed her eyes she'd think that none of this was true. Sadly for her, it was. He didn't know why but he had an unexplainable urge to kiss her eyelids and without waiting for her reaction or anything he bent down lightly and kissed her right eyelid. He saw her twitch and smiled to himself that she didn't move him away. He slowly leaned down at kissed the tip of her nose and was surprised when he felt two hands at his chest push him away.

"What was that for?" Harshad groaned, rubbing at his chest.

"That was for—whatever you just did," Meera frowned sitting up again.

"Don't tell me you didn't like it,"

Meera rolled her eyes. "Stop flattering yourself Harshad," A knock sounded on the door and they both jumped up. "Crap—I shouldn't be here."

"Go hide in the bathroom." Harshad pushed her gently into the bathroom and went to open the door. "Hey Radz. What's up? Everything cool?"

She looked at him suspiciously and peered around the room. "What's wrong with you?"

"Me?" He laughed nervously. "Nothing at all,"

"Right," Radz frowned. "Anyways I just came to ask if you've seen...AC—CHOO!"

Harshad burst out laughing. "I've not seen achoo, but I've seen another dwarf here today Sneezy,"

"Shut up," Radz glared at Harshad. "Have you seen Meera?" She quickly plugged her nose. "I've never sneezed so much. I blame whatever gel you use in your hair."

Harshad frowned and touched his hair. "There is no gel,"

"Oh." Radz shrugged. "Something else in your room then, Anyways good night!"

Harshad shook his head as he shut the door. "She's gone," He tapped on the bathroom door and watched Meera peer out.

"Thank god. Why was she sneezing though?"

Harshad shrugged. "She's allergic to something in my room,"

Meera grinned. "Nope, it's the cream I'm wearing. It's a scent she's allergic to,"

"And you're wearing it because?" Harshad asked.

"I don't actually know," she flopped down on the bed. Harshad sat down next to her and smiled while she took his hand. "I'm sorry,"

"For?"

"The rash attitude before,"

"Consider it forgotten,"

"You rock," Meera grinned before getting up.

"Where are you going?" He asked standing up with her.

"Umm—to my room?" Meera frowned.

"Right—I'll talk to you tomorrow."

"Good night," Meera nodded.

"Sweet dreams," he called out before she left the room.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Bhav heard the door creak open and refused to pry her eyes away from her book to check. "I want the left bed," she informed the person.

The person just laughed and Bhav shrugged before letting her attention return to the details in the book until she sniffed a different scent. "Me?" She lowered the book and saw Meera staring back at her. "I thought I'm sharing with Radz."

"You were," Meera nodded. "Till I put on the cream that Radz is allergic too,"

"Ahh—" Bhav nodded knowingly. "Cherry Blossom Shimmer?"

"Yup!" Meera grinned before flopping on the twin bed on the right side of the room. "So whacha reading?"

"Obviously nothing as exciting as what happened in the last hour or so." Bhav commented.

Meera's face flamed and she looked down at the floor. "What are you talking about?"

"I don't know M, what do you think I'm talking about?" Bhav put down the book and looked at Meera.

"I wouldn't know," Meera glanced up at Bhav and back down at her nails.

"Well—I heard some laughter and voices."

"Uh huh?" Meera smiled sweetly. "So?"

"They sounded an awful lot like you and someone you don't like very much," Bhav grinned.

"Really? Who could that be?" Meera frowned before tapping her chin. "I'm blank B, I need to know."

"Blank—and you? Not possible." Bhav grinned. "So I'm guessing I'll just have to blurt it out and wait for confirmation?"

Meera shrugged. "You might not get any. But please do go ahead,"

Bhav narrowed her eyes at Meera. "Were you with Harshad?"

Meera shrugged.

"Is that your answer?"

"Maybe?"

"Grr M!"

"Sorry B!" Meera grinned.

A knock sounded on the door. "Come in," Bhav called out.

Harshad peeped around the door. "You forgot your cell phone," He threw Meera's phone on her bed.

"I rest my case," Bhav smirked before picking up her book again.

"You ruin everything," Meera glared at Harshad before stomping off to the balcony.

"What did I do?" Harshad stared at Bhav who just shook her head.

"Go out and talk to her, I shall leave you two alone," Bhav grinned before picking up her book and walking out of the room.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Couldn't sleep?" Adi called out to Bhav who tiptoed down the stairs.

"You scared me!" she frowned. "Why are you down here?"

"There aren't enough rooms upstairs so I'm crashing on the couch." He tells her.

Bhav nods. "Ah okay—and to answer your earlier question, no. I could sleep I'm just giving some quiet time to a couple."

"Harshad and Meera?"

Bhav mocked a look of shock. "How could you guess?"

"Well my knowledge tells me he likes her—and that Radz does not think that way about Harshad."

"You're a regular Sherlock Holmes," Bhav rolled her eyes before flopping down next to him.

"I prefer James Bond." Adi grinned.

"Shut up. James Bond—is much more...." Bhav trailed off.

"Save it. I don't need to hear your fantasies." Adi stuck his fingers in his ears.

Bhav glared at him and slapped his hands away. "They're not fantasies. It's the general opinion of girls."

"I'm sure," Adi rolled his eyes. "So why is the couple in need of quiet time?"

Bhav shrugged. "They need to sort their things out."

"When do we get to do that?" Adi asked.

"Do what?"

"Sort out OUR things."

"We have things to sort out?" Bhav frowned.

"You don't think we do?"

"We might...." Bhav looked down at her clasped hands in her lap.

"We do." Adi confirmed. "Look B," He took her hand in his. "I know you don't think of me any other way than someone annoying you constantly," Bhav smirked. "But I want to change that."

"How do you plan on that?"

"Anyway you want." Adi smiled.

"Good," Bhav grinned. "I want us to be nicer to each other—for a start."

"I agree wholeheartedly."

"I also never want to hear that out of your mouth ever again," Bhav cringed.

"Noted." Adi smirked.

"Good, at least Meera will be happy." Bhav mumbled.

"Oh? And why's that?" He inched closer to her.

"She told me to give you a chance," Bhav said softly as she reached up to smooth down Adi's hair.

"I'm glad she did." Adi smiled before taking her hand and lightly kissing the back of it.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Go away," Meera closed her eyes feeling Harshad's hand on her's.

"How'd you know it was me and not B?" He asked.

"The feel of your hand," she muttered. "Leave. Please?" He took his hand away and saw her open her eyes. "You're still here."

"I'm not going. Why are you mad?"

"I'm not mad. I'm....annoyed." she sighed.

"Uh huh—why though?"

Meera turned around on the balcony, leaning her back against the railing. "I don't know. It's all weird."

"What's weird?" He frowned. "I'm officially confused."

"Figures," Meera grinned. "Okay no seriously, I'm just not sure about all this with me and you." She looked up into the night sky. "Sometimes I wonder if you reach for your dreams and then when they come true—why do you falter away?"

"Is that what you're doing?" He asked quietly.

Meera nodded. "Looks like it doesn't it." She leaned her head against his shoulder. "Why am I so difficult?"

"You're not difficult."She backed away and stared at him. "Alright you are, but it's not something surprising."

"How is it not?" she leaned down again.

"Because you're a girl and I'm a guy. And you're finally opening up to your feelings. You're allowed to be weirded out."

"Good—because I am." Meera nodded.

"That doesn't mean we can't give it a chance though," he said softly.

"You want to?" Meera asked.

"You should know that answer by heart now." He lightly kissed her forehead.

"Yeah."

"Yeah what?" He asked. "Yeah for knowing the answer or yeah for giving it a chance?"

"What do you think?" She grinned.

He slowly slipped his hands around her waist. "I'm hoping both."

"You're hoping right." She grinned before reaching up and kissing his cheek lightly.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"I never thought I'd be so desperate to get out of this car." Radz commented while Adi started driving.

"Something wrong Ms. Aradhna? Not my driving hopefully?" Adi grinned.

"Shut up," Radz narrowed her eyes at him. "If you would maybe stop glancing at Bhav it would be good,"

"You are saying this?" Bhav looked at her with wide eyes. "I thought you were the one who helped him?"

Radz shrugged. "Maybe."

Bhav rolled her eyes before smiling at Adi. Adi who had made the last three days in the farmhouse completely enjoyable. They had sweet moments in the garden, late nights eating popcorn on the couch. Fun arguments about their friends. All in all just a fun time and now they were headed back home and Bhav couldn't wait to see what it held.

She got pulled out of her thoughts when she felt Adi's hand on her own. She glanced up and saw his cute smile back at her.

"As if one lovey-dovey couple wasn't enough," Radz mumbled to herself. "These two love birds are going to make me sick." She quickly took out her cell phone and started texting her boyfriend.

"We're not love birds," Meera leaned over Harshad and glared at Radz. "Besides you're texting Mayu anyways."

"Only I'm allowed to call him that." Radz glared at her.

"Kyun? Did you copyright it?" Meera taunted.

"Let me at her," Radz lunged across Harshad and grabbed a lock of Meera's hair until Harshad loosened her grip on Meera. "Never mind. I'm too good for that."

"Sure," Meera rolled her eyes until Harshad leaned forward and blocked them both from looking at each other. "You know you're not too good for fighting. You're just scared of losing. To me!"

"Harshad I'd get out of the way if I were you unless you want your face scratched up." Radz threatened.

"I love you but I don't want my face getting messed," He cringed at Meera's expression.

"You love me?" Meera blinked a few times.

"I did just say that didn't I?" He muttered.

"You did," Radz grinned and tapped his shoulder.

"You do?" Meera asked again.

Harshad ran a hand through his floppy hair. "I do,"

"You do."

"I do."

"You're not getting married," Bhav rolled her eyes. "Shut up,"

"Someone's feisty," Radz commented.

"Good! You noticed," Bhav grinned.

"Kinda hard not to," Adi added.

Bhav glared at Adi and slapped his arm. "I hate you,"

"I love you too," He smiled back.

They kept driving back towards home with all their insane conversations going around with Radz adding in her little comments every now and then even though she was busy texting Mayank who was too busy to come on their little road trip. They had come to the farmhouse as friends and were all leaving as something much more special.

Yay it's done! 😃 Have fun 😛

This is all stuff I've written before, but SOME people have given me permission to post it now...so I figure why not? 😛

"You're what?" Aradhna frowned at her best friend who was hiding her face in her textbook.

"I'm going clubbing for my birthday and you're coming." Nonee grinned at A, as she fondly called her.

"I'm coming?" Radz stared blankly at Nonee who nodded.

"Really not that hard to comprehend A. My birthday. And we will be celebrating." Nonee grinned. "The only difference is...instead of a nice proper dinner. It'll be at a fun happening dance club!" She clapped happily.

"Uh huh," Radz nodded. "And what does your brother think about this?"

"He doesn't know." Nonee smirked. "And proven everything goes as planned, he won't know till we get home tonight."

"Oh so you at least plan on coming home?" Radz grinned.

"Course A! Now help me decide what to wear!" Nonee pulled Radz off the bed to her walk-in closet.

The two girls spent the afternoon trying on the flashiest outfits they could put together in Nonee's closet until Nonee's mom called her down.

Radz screeched. "Don't leave me with this stupid dress on," she kept glaring while Nonee rushed out of the room. Radz rolled her eyes at her reflection in the mirror. "I can't believe I let her convince me to try this on," she glanced down at the shimmery silver dress she was trying to zip up from the back. "It's so—girly." She sighed as she struggled to pull it up.

She heard the door creak open and call out. "Help me! Either get this off of me or help me get it on properly." She let go of the zipper and looked down at the wobbly heels she was wearing when a cold hand touched her shoulder and zipped her up.

She glanced up and saw Nonee's brother, Adi, staring at her through the mirror.

"It's—" she started to explain.

"You look nice," He nodded before leaving the room.

Radz frowned as the door shut behind him and glanced back at her reflection. Maybe the dress wasn't too girly after all,

"Sorry I took so long!" Nonee sighed as she walked in. "Mom needed to get the blender down, god knows why she can't get her perfect son to do it," she rolled her eyes. "And then chachi called for my birthday. And damn A! You look GOOD in the dress,"

Radz smirked and did a model twirl. "You think?"

"Most definitely." Nonee nodded. "Want a guy's opinion?"

Radz glared at Nonee. "No, I'll trust you."

The door burst open and in walked Adi. "Why are you wearing that?" Both the girls turned and saw Adi with a crease on his forehead. "You look nice and all—but why are you wearing it?"

Radz smiled. "Thanks?"

"Yeah anyways—why?"

"Adi—it's none of your business...good bye!" Nonee rolled her eyes while she pushed Adi out of the room and locked the door.

"I'm going to tell mom you're planning something," He nearly shouted through the door.

"Crap!" Nonee muttered before unlocking the door and pulling him into the room. "Shut up and don't make a sound."

Adi rolled his eyes. "I listen to you because?"

"Because you love me now shush." Nonee pushed him down on the bean chair. "You love me right?"

"Depends on where you're going with this." Adi looked at her wearily.

Radz sat down on the bench in the uncomfortable dress and watched the siblings banter.

"You love me." Nonee smiled. "Anyways—it's my 21st birthday. You'd want me to enjoy that right?"

"You're scaring me Nonee." Adi frowned. "What's going on?"

"I'm not doing something illegal," Nonee rolled her eyes. "I just want to have some fun on my birthday."

"What kind of fun?" Adi narrowed his eyes at her.

"Sheesh Adi, nice faith in your sister." Nonee groaned.

"Well what do you want me to say?" Adi sighed. "You're not telling me what's going on and that scares me Nonee."

"Fine—if I promise to tell you, will you lay off for a bit?" Nonee argued.

Adi glanced from Radz who nodded back to Nonee who raised her eyebrows waiting for his answer. "Yes."

"Promise?" Nonee's eyes brightened.

"Promise," He smiled slowly at her.

"Okay well Radz is taking me to a club for my bday!" Nonee clapped.

"Hey wh—" Radz started saying until she saw Nonee pleading with her.

"You're taking her to a club?" Adi's eyes went wide.

"Umm yeah?" Radz muttered. "It seemed like a fun idea."

"Isn't it Adi?" Nonee hugged his arm. "I can go right?"

Adi glanced at Radz who was glaring at Nonee and he looked back down at Nonee hugging his arm. "On one condition."

"What?" Nonee grinned up at him.

"I come with you."

"What?" Radz blurt out.

"Problem?"

"No," Radz crossed her arms.

"Didn't think it would be." Adi smirked at Radz before looking at Nonee. "So sis, what do you say? Spend your birthday at home or with your brother and friends at a club?"

Nonee frowned and sighed. "At the club with everyone; and you." She added with an afterthought.

"Good idea, I'll be ready and waiting at 7," Adi turned to leave the room. "Oh and don't try to think you'll fool me by jumping down the fire escape. That's where I'll be." The door slammed shut behind him and Nonee cursed.

"Damn him!"

Radz rolled her eyes. "You got us into this mess,"

"Me?" Nonee frowned. "You could've lied."

"I can't lie," Radz shrugged. "You know that already,"

"Great," Nonee put a pillow over her face. "We now have our own bodyguard with us," she muffled into the pillow.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Two hours later the three of them arrived at Ecstasy.

"Is this really the only place you could think of?" Adi glanced at Radz who was looking slightly intimidated by the grandeur of the club.

Radz glanced at Nonee whose eyes were sparkling watching the light shine in the club. "Can we go in already?"

Adi rolled his eyes before nodding. "Let's go,"

"Yay!" Nonee squealed before stepping ahead in her 3 inch heels towards the door.

The music filtered out as she opened it and the three of them slipped inside, showing their ID cards at the door. "This place is insane," Radz shouted over the music.

"Isn't it awesome?" Nonee yelled back.

"You picked it, you should know," Radz commented back.

"She picked it?" Adi frowned.

Radz sighed as they walked up to the lounge upstairs. "Yes,"

"Should've known."

"You didn't think it was me?" she asked.

"No—you're smart that way."

"Oh? As opposed to another way I'm NOT smart?" Radz' eyes flashed.

Adi smiled and they both continued to playfully argue not noticing when Nonee slipped away from them and down to the dance floor.

"Hey—Aradhna right?" A girl stumbled over to her and Adi.

"Yeah," Radz frowned, trying to recognize the girl. "Do I know you?" she finally asked.

The girl nodded. "I'm in your Media writing class. HEYYYY!!!" She glanced at Adi. "He's cute!" She slurred. "Boyfriend?"

Radz and Adi glanced at each other shyly before Radz answered. "Just a friend. He's Nonee's brother."

"Ohhhh....brother and the best friend! That always makes a good pair." She nodded before her other friend came to rush her away.

"Sorry about that," Radz muttered.

"Don't worry about it." Adi smiled. "You don't even know her."

"Where'd Nonee go?" Radz asked, trying to divert the attention off of her.

"Nonee? She was right here!" Adi frowned as he went down to the dance floor searching for his little sister.

Radz leaned over the railing and sighed. She was feeling weird. These were those butterflies her friends had warned her about. There was something about Adi, something she hadn't noticed before but now suddenly things had changed and Radz did not know what to make of it.

"Why so lonely?" Nonee leaned against the railing and grinned at Radz. "Did my mean brother leave you alone?"

"N, are you..." Radz peered at Nonee who shook her head.

"Just giddy," Nonee told her.

"Great—wanna just stay with me now then?" Radz asked, holding onto Nonee's arm.

"As long as you promise to dance." Nonee grinned.

"How about we wait for your brother to come back okay?"

"Why don't say his name ever?" Nonee glanced at Radz. "It's always 'your brother'."

Radz shrugged. "It's easier?"

"His name's easier A!" Nonee rolled her eyes. "A-d-i."

"Fine," Radz groaned. "Adi. Happy?"

"Muchly," Nonee giggled. "Since he's behind you."

Radz turned and Adi slowly walked towards them. "What's with her?"

"She's giddy. Not drunk," Radz told him.

"Think the night's over?" Adi asked.

"Short lived but yes," Radz agreed as Adi helped Nonee down the steps.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

"I'm sorry," Adi shuffled his feet as he stood outside Nonee's bedroom door.

They had both taken a very ecstatic Nonee home as quick as they could and Radz had helped her change and now she was snugly asleep in bed.

"Don't worry about it," Radz smiled.

"I can't believe how ecstatic she is tonight," Adi glanced at the closed door and shook his head. "I've never seen her like that."

"The clubs' name WAS Ecstasy." Radz pointed out, grinning.

"True," Adi smiled back. "Sorry I had to cut your night short too,"

Radz waved him off. "Don't worry about it. I wasn't planning on doing any dancing anyways."

"Why not?" Adi frowned.

"I can't dance," Radz shrugged.

"Liar," Adi grinned.

"What? I'm not lying." Radz frowned.

"Prove it," Adi smirked.

"How?"

"Dance with me," Adi offered.

"Hardly enough room," Radz gestured around the narrow hallway. "Anyways it's late and maybe we can leave that for next time."

"There's going to be a next time?" Adi grinned.

Radz shrugged. "N's my best friend, you're her brother. Yeah we'll see each other again."

"Uhh—right," Adi nodded before looking down at his hands.

"I—thanks?" Radz smiled awkwardly, clasping her hands in front of her.

"Yeah don't worry about it." Adi smiled back.

"I should go," Radz slowly turned back before quickly reaching up and kissing Adi on the lips before rushing down the stairs smiling giddily. This was so not her...yet it felt different, but good different.

There's SUPPOSED to be a sequel to this...I just haven't looked at it since the time I wrote this...a few months ago? 😛

Tiffany's

Disclaimer: This shot's idea was thought out around my birthday. No it never happened to me (kaash *sighs*) but it happened to one of my cousins, and so I've totally taken the idea from her and she helped me out a bit with the details. I know the person I wrote this for might be a little apprehensive, but Bhav, ILY! *hugs*

"Nonee!!!!" Screams echoed though the large four bedroom house.

Two girls sitting downstairs in the loft cringed at the sound and turned their attention from the tv screen to the staircase where they knew the screamer would appear.

"Nonee!" the girl screamed again louder this time.

"Bhavna!" Aradhna frowned. "What is your problem?"

"My problem?" Bhavna scoffed. "She lost the diamond hoops a--my parents gave me, after our graduation from university."

Aradhna's hand immediately went to her mouth and she looked sympathetically at the other girl sitting next to her. "You're dead."

"I didn't mean to lose them B!" Nonee sighed. "I just...can't remember where I took them off."

"And so you leave me a frickin' note?" Bhav's eyes went wide. "You couldn't tell me face to face?"

"I could...but this reaction frightened me..." Nonee pouted.

"What's with all the yelling?" A guy's voice sounded at the top of the stairs.

"Great, your saviour's here." Nonee muttered under her breath, glaring at Bhavna.

"He's your brother N," Aradhna replied logically.

"Radzie," Nonee shook her head. "We're house mates and all but are you seriously oblivious to the obvious?"

"What's obvious?" Bhavna narrowed her eyes at Nonee.

"That you and my brother have been seeing each other for weeks."

"WHAT?" Aradhna's yell caused the 'guy' in question to come stampeding down the stairs.

He stopped a few feet away from the girls and closed his eyes gently rubbing at his temples."What the hell is going on in this house?" He frowned at the three girls who had similar sheepish looks on their faces.

"Ask her," Bhavna glared at Nonee who shrugged.

"Nonee...what's going on?" He asked in a calm tone.

"Can I just tell you?" Aradhna asked with a groan.

A small smile came onto his face. "No one's stopping you but if you like asking for my permission by all means," He gestured for her to speak.

Bhavna smirked at Aradhna who glowered at the guy in front of her.

"I don't like you," She frowned.

"Most people don't," He shrugged. "Continue though,"

She rolled her eyes. "Okay so Nonee borrowed those earrings that Bhav's parents gave her for graduation," Aradhna noticed that he glanced back at Bhav who sighed silently. "And Nonee can't remember when she took them off and instead of telling Bhav face to face she left her a note." Aradhna shrugged. "That's it,"

Bhavna looked straight up at Aradhna, surprised that she hadn't mentioned everything else Nonee had said.

"How about you just get another pair?" he turned around and suggested to Bhavna who shrugged.

"I guess that's what I'll have to do," Bhavna nodded, not noticing Nonee and Aradhna exchange a smirk.

"Oooorrr...." Nonee began.

"You could take her shopping," Aradhna suggested innocently.

He hesitantly rubbed at his neck and smiled nervously. "Why would I take her?"

"Leave it, they're being weird," Bhavna glared at both the girls and shook her head.

"Are we Bhav?" Nonee grinned. "Or is a certain someone hiding something?"

"Out with it Mr. Aidan Aditya Mehra," Aradhna glared. "What's the deal between you and Bhavna?"

Adi cringed at hearing his full name. "What's with the full name? Only mom calls me that,"

"If you don't wanna hear it again--spit it out." Aradhna smiled wickedly.

Adi sighed and turned to glance at Bhavna who had the same tortured expression on her face.

"We already know," Nonee smirked. "We just want confirmation,"

Bhavna sighed. "Do you enjoy making our lives torture?"

"I enjoy making his," Nonee grinned at her brother while Aradhna laughed. "And I enjoy making yours torture,"

"As if I didn't realize," Bhavna muttered under her breath.

"Fine," Adi announced. "We're seeing each other," he reached down and grasped her right hand. "Happy?"

Bhavna's cheeks tinted red while the other two girls stood gaping at the bold gesture from Adi.

"Wow," Aradhna smiled. "Didn't know you had it in ya," she high-fived Nonee who still stood stunned at her brother.

The two girls then went up the stairs leaving the other two to stand staring at each other.

"So...?" Adi started before Bhavna's eyes flashed up to his face. "What?"

As if suddenly realizing the two of them were left alone she cleared her throat and asked. "Why--why did you admit it?"

"I just don't think its right hiding something important from those two." Adi slowly reached for her hands. "I'm happy--they deserve to know."

Bhavna shook her head and smiled. "Yeah--you're right."

"I always am," Adi smirked. "You just take too long to realize it." Bhavna rolled her eyes and he laughed. "About the earrings Nonee lost, should we get you a new pair?"

Bhavna sighed. "I hate that I lost the first gift you gave me,"

"I thought it's from your parents," He grinned.

"Shut up," Bhavna smiled. "I had to say that....but yeah can we get a new pair?"

"Course, let's go," He tugged her up the stairs.

~*~*~*~*~*~

Two hours later the two of them found themselves seated in a Tiffany's showroom surrounded by security guards and bright lights.

"What about those?"Adi suggested before seeing Bhavna cringe. "Or not,"

"Sorry Adi," Bhavna sighed. "They have to be perfect."

"I picked them last time," he pointed out.

Bhavna smiled. "You're right...but this makes it more special." Without hesitating she slipped her hand into his and nodded towards the display case.

Adi smiled before taking his hand out of hers and pulling her close against his body. A little while later Bhavna had picked out three different sets and was having difficulty choosing between them.

"Which one's?" she pouted as she looked up at Adi.

"Whichever ones you like." He nodded.

"You're no help at all." She huffed and glared down at the earrings.

Adi sighed before picked up a pair. "I like these."

"Good me too!" Bhavna grinned before handing them to the associate.

"I'll go pay; how about you go check out the bracelets? Aradhna's birthday's coming up." Adi reminded her.

Bhavna nodded before crossing over to the other side of the large store. She smiled as one of the male associates wandered over near her.

"How can I help you ma'am?"

Bhavna looked up from the bracelets. "I'm doing okay right now thank you,"

He nodded. "My name's Howard, do call if you need any assistance," He backed away to the wall again.

Bhavna nodded before looking back down at the glass display case. She continued looking till her eyes stopped on a ring and she smiled. She wondered how it would be to have a ring like that on her finger. She decided she wanted to try it on. She glanced up and searched for Howard who smiled as she caught his eye. He walked over to her and pulled out a set of keys.

Bhavna noticed the smile fall from his face the moment he saw which ring she was pointing to. She frowned wondering why his reaction changed so suddenly till she saw him mouth something into the small microphone he was wearing.

He slowly put his key in the lock and turned it gently, Bhavna waited with bated breath as he pulled out the box when she suddenly felt someone watching her. She turned and saw herself surrounded by 2 security guards. She frowned and looked up at Howard who smiled and nodded. She shrugged back at him. Maybe it's just the way they are? I hope they don't think I'm stealing something.

"Would you like to step this way?" Howard smiled as he quickly put the ring into his pocket.

Bhavna saw him point behind the counter and she stared confused. "I thought I could just try it on?"

Howard nodded. "This way please," He opened the tiny door to get behind the counter and the security guards followed.

Her heartbeat grew rapidly as she walked into a narrow white hallway. She swallowed as she glanced ahead at Howard who seemed like a nice sweet elderly man before, now though she saw him as a bit of a goon for taking her away from the store like this.

"Excuse me--"

"Sssh!" one of the security guards behind her whispered.

She shivered and waited as Howard approached the door at the end of the

hallway. "This way ma'am,"

She sighed before entering the room and seeing a glass table with four chairs around it, two on either side.

"Please sit," Howard hushed in a soft voice.

Bhavna resisted the urge to roll her eyes for the 10th time in the last 5 minutes as Howard ushered her into one of the seats.

"So this ring you'd like to see--" He reached into his pocket and pulled out the tiny baby blue box.

Bhavna nodded and leaned slightly forward, still a bit annoyed with all the requirements to see one god damn ring!

Howard lifted the cover off the box and held it out for Bhavna to take. She smiled before taking the box in her hand.

"That ring is a 1970's classic princess cushion cut, encrusted with small sapphires on the band." He smiled. "A very beautiful ring."

Bhavna nodded before reaching in and holding it between her forefinger and thumb. "It's very beautiful," she whispered. "How many carats is it?"

"Oh silly me!" Howard smiled. "It's 2 carats, a one of a kind engagement ring. Any girl would be lucky to have it."

She smiled before returning it in the box. "How much...?"

Howard smiled before turning to the small pad of paper on the glass table. He pulled out a pen from his front pocket and began scribbling on it. He ripped off the paper and silently handed it to Bhavna who took it.

She looked down at the numbers on the paper and her throat grew dry. "Are you sure you're not missing a decimal anywhere there?"

Howard glared as if she had made a bad joke and she sighed.

$53,100 was an insane price for a ring!Bhavna swallowed and smiled up at Howard. Look at him smiling at me as if I'm going to buy this ring. She shook her head and stood slowly. "Thank you for your time Howard."

"Wait! I've buzzed them to bring in your fiance as well."

"My what now?" She turned to face him and collapsed on the chair. "He--he's not my fiance. He's just my boyfriend."

"You buzzed me in?" Adi walked into the room with a glint in his eyes focused intently on Bhavna whose cheeks grew red.

"I did sir," Howard nodded. "Howard D'Souza." He held out his hand and Adi shook it. "Your girl friend here picked out a very nice ring and I thought you'd like to see it."

"She did, did she?" He smiled. "How nice Bhav."

She shrugged and bit her lip as Howard handed the ring to Adi. She didn't realize she was holding her breath as she saw Adi's eyes look over the ring.

"Take it out sir," Howard suggested. "Let's see how it looks on her finger."

Bhavna didn't think her cheeks could get any warmer as Adi slowly pulled her left hand up in his right hand. Their eyes locked as he slowly slid on the ring to her left finger. Slowly both their gazes went to the ring and they smiled unknowingly.

"It looks perfect," Adi whispered as Bhavna's smile grew.

"Made to be on her finger only." Howard agreed, snapping the other two out of their moment. "Would you like to take a look at the price sir?"

Adi smiled. "Think I should Bhav?"

Bhavna shrugged and handed over the small piece of paper she had slightly crumbled to Adi, waiting for his reaction as his eyes scanned over the paper. "Interesting."

Bhavna closed her eyes and opened them slightly as she saw him smile at her.

"Do you really like the ring?" He asked softly.

Bhavna sighed. If she said yes, Adi would think she was in a rush. It was true she did like the ring, but not enough for him to spend that much money. Hell she wasn't sure she would ever want to hear about him spending THAT much money on anything for her. She shook her head. "I like it--but we, we're not ready yet."

Adi smiled at her and then turned to Howard. "Sorry Mr. Howard, I don't think we'll be shopping for one of these any time soon."

Howard's face fell and Bhavna immediately felt bad, leading him on like that. But she couldn't think twice about it since Adi took her hand and led her out of the private room and out of the store.

He finally let go of her hand as they walked into the sunlight. Bhavna braced herself for the outburst that was to come but was pleasantly surprised when Adi continued walking quietly.

"Kuch kahoge nahin?" Bhavna asked quietly.

"What should I say?" Adi shrugged.

She groaned and held onto his shoulder and led him to a nearby bench. "Say something please."

"About?"

"About this whole ring fiasco." She frowned. "I want to know what you're thinking."

"Honestly?"

"Honestly."

Adi sighed. "Honestly, I'm questioning if you're ready, if we're ready, if you really expect me to spend that much money...just a lot of 'if's'," He nodded.

Bhavna burst out laughing. "Can I answer your questions? Will it ease the confusion in your tiny little brain?"

"I'm too tired to argue right now," he glared. "But yes go on."

Bhavna rolled her eyes. "I'm ready--kinda? Not any time soon though Adi," she reached out and touched his cheek softly. "We'll know when we are, I promise. And please! Promise me, you'll NEVER spend that much money on a ring,"

Adi sighed. "Thank god!" Bhavna smiled. "I'm so glad I fell in love with you, not someone materialistic."

Bhavna smirked. "Yes, you should be," She eased herself into the crook of his shoulder and smiled. "What took you so long though? You were paying for the hoops right?"

"Oh!" Adi jerked up quickly, making Bhav hit the wooden bench. "I got you something else."

"Adi," she warned.

"It's small--you'll like it." He re-assured her as he reached into the baby blue Tiffany's bag. He held out a box and urged for her to take it.

She took it slowly and lifted the cover and gasped. "I...I can't believe you,"

He shrugged. "I know," He stood up slowly and took the necklace out of the box and reached around her and put it on.

Bhavna's fingers lightly grazed the heart key pendant and smiled. "It's beautiful,"

He leaned down near her ear and whispered. "Just like you. The meaning is true too though,"

Bhavna turned back and raised her eyebrow. "Which meaning?"

"You hold the key to my heart," He smirked.

Bhavna pressed her lips together to keep from laughing until a small giggle escaped her lips. "You did NOT just say that!" she slapped him lightly on the shoulder.

"What?" He held his heart. "You don't believe me?"

"I believe you," she nodded. "I just don't believe you would ever say something like that,"

Adi shrugged. "Some things you just learn."

"Promise me you'll never say something that bad again,"

"Why not? You don't like it?"

"I just...think it's cheesy!" Bhavna giggled. "Something Meera would swoon over."

Adi rolled his eyes. "And these are the moments I question you,"

"I question you all the time," she winked before taking his arm. "Let's go,"

With that the two of them walked down the boardwalk and into the sunset, hand in hand. The only thing missing was the $53,100 ring.
