Twilight teaches nothing. Besides how to be a weak, dependent, and constipated little girl. Harry Potter rules.

the messaage is that no matter what u r or how old u maybe dead or alive even if u are as cold as Ice like my Edward☺️u can always find love, meaning there's life after death😆

Not every book has a message. Harry Potter was written by JK Rowling mainly to carry several messages across the globe to everyone, children and adults alike. It talked about almost anything and everything that we experience today: corruption in politics, knowing truely what is right and wrong, love (not only between guy and girl but also parents, friends, and other inspiring adults) in its most beautiful truest form, sacrifice, etc etc etc.

I don't think Twilight was written to give a message to anyone. Meyers wrote if for pure entertainment, so when read, it doesn't make sense to derive a message from it, because the only message I see is that love (though I'd call is obsession) for your partner is more important than love for parents or love for your own life, which I don't agree with. So if one truly wants to enjoy Twilight, don't try to derive a message from it.

Aahh..i love HP! And the messagee this guy says it gives is truee!

But yh...its also true..that Twilight actually gives no message at all! Its about Love (no matter how irrational or crazy the love is..lol) and thats it!

I agree with Andrew.

Twilight is just an over-hyped book about a sparkling Vampire (ooohhhh shiny!). It tells us nothing. No message. Bella is a weak character, the story line sucked, and Edward was thrown in there being all perfect to even out the sucky character and story.

I for one find that ALL stories should have messages. Real messages, otherwise why produce any media at all.

As far as I can tell.... the message of Twilight came across as something along the lines of true love conquers all.... at least that's what I understood from reading the series....
