Good parenting - 500 Words.

The young adults were told to write a 500 words on good parenting....i am not asking you guyz to write 500 words, but would love to hear your take on whats good parenting according to you.

omg when i saw them talking about an essay on good parenting i was lmao, cause i had to write an essay on good parenting in my pareting class! 😆

God couldn't always be there, so that's why he gave us our parents! (I know this is used towards mothers, but I think fathers should be included in that line too!) My parents have given lots of love and support to the three of us, and they have given lots of sacrifices. I can only hope and pray to be a good enough daughter and live up to each and every one of their expectations.

Id rather write a 5000 words on good parenting than study for chemistry...''Scream''!!!, and since i have started this topic, i think its only fair if i give some sorta insight to what good parenting means to me. Sorry, get ready to bore, once i start ranting, i dont stop! 😉😆

- Good parents are one that can understand the generation and move with the time, some parents are still living in the past and put too much restrictions on the youth. I think restrictions compels the kids to go against it and to break the rules and makes thus makes them more rough. They should give the right amount of freedom, the freedom to party some weekends, go out with friends, make friends with whoever they want, be independent and be able to work part-time..be involved in social activities and to dress up to the lastest fashion ( as long as its modest etc )..the list goes on..their is a thin line between giving freedom and spoiling the kid. The parents should know where the line draws and make sure they give their kid the space but dont let them slip outta their control.

- Second point id like to make is that parents should encourage their sweethearts to be mature from young age, the younger you are the faster you learn. The parents should allow the child to be expressive and independent. I hate it when the child is dependant on their parent or the state for their surviving. Once past the legal/minimum age to work, once a young adult..the kids should start earning themselves and start working part-time. I think part-time works matures the kids and no it doesnt affect their studying. It makes them more responsible and they know the real meaning of time and how to manage it much better. I started working at the age of 16 and now at university.

- Thirdly, the parents should be involved with the kid, know their interest and try their very best for their child to make the most they can from their life. They should be supportive in their choice of career and not put their own stamp on it and declare them to be only doctors or engineers etc. However be careful not to support their child too much and not to shower too much love and affection on them and spoil them. Criticism makes the person better, makes them thrive harder and do better..however make sure to praise their hard work to motive them and push them further. They should NEVER overlook their child flaws, and balance things up with their good and bad points..noone is perfect.

Okay i think that should be enough..and i think that is 500 words eh? 😆 All of the above is my own viewpoints which may some agree or disagree on.

Pretty much, patience and understanding is the key to good pareting ;) Love n affection is a part too. and etc etc =P

haha thats funny...something similar happend to me too with another show...when Bigg boss task was showing butlers, n the malikah etc...we were learning about domestic servants, n butlers n reading a book on it lol.....sorry if this was off-topic
