Radha wakes Bharti up in morning at 5 to prepare food for 11 Brahmins and Bharti is terrified of the thought because all she knows how to cook was an omlette. When Bharti steps down and Bua spots her without ghunghat and sindoor, she wails about another Apshagun, but Omkar covers it up by applying the sindoor on Bharti's forehead and putting a ghunghat on her head. On entering the kitchen, everything seems alien to Bharti and she somehow tries to cook food but ends up burning most of what she had managed. She asks for Radha's help but since she wasn't allowed in the kitchen that day, she refused. Bharti somehow begs her and offers to keep an eye on the door while she would cook.
On the other hand, preparations to seat 11 Brahmins are going on in the hall and Bua is expressing her concerns over Bharti's culinary skills, but Omkar convinces her. When the Brahmins arrives, they are seated and discussions about Bharti's Apshagun leads to one of the Brahmins in stating that only gau-daan wont help in them getting their "vansh-ka-chirag" and that they would have to donate a golden idol too to each Brahmin.
In the kitchen, Radha is almost done with the food and she is scared as hell. She wants to get out of there as soon as possible, therefore asks Bharti to make minor changes in food, but Bharti gets all the more confused. The moment Radha was about to exit the kitchen, they both come face to face with Omkar who demands the explanation as to what was Radha doing inside the kitchen.

Madhusudan fumes yet again and instructs his wife Rajkishori to immediately start a maha-jaap to counter the Apshagun Bharti had brought over the family. Omkar gets angry on Bharti regardless of all her efforts and a whole day of having no food at all. Arman stands up for her but when Bua interfered, Omkar lost his cool and said if Arman can't watch all this happen, he should just leave, to which Arman retorts by saying that he would do right away.
Rajkishori immediately starts preparations for the maha-jaap and Bharti recedes to the kitchen where she started putting all the dirty utensils in the kitchen, taking out her frustration. She spots some kheer left and started eating hungrily when KK appears and increases her frustration. He tells her that she has to follow 9 guns of womanhood and only after she followed them, would she get the nirvana from her curse.
On the other side of the house, Rajkishori begins her maha-jaap and instructs Bua to not let Bharti near the pooja-room. Bua does that and it increases Bharti's curiosity about the weird rituals going on in the house. She peeps from outside the pooja-ghar door, snickering to herself finding everything funny and grumbling on the ways everybody was bent upon overcoming her karma and altering the apshaguns, when she notices Rajkishori's saree catching fire from the diya she had lit. She tries to open the door but couldn't since it was locked from inside.
