As a silent reader on this forum, I was shocked to see how people were just talking about how the new upcoming twist meant less screen time for Ranvir or how it meant Sadhna would again be at the so called receiving end or how this twist took away from Sadhna-Aalekh's love story track.
But I was disheartened to notice that no one talked about what this meant for Ragini.
If the news stated in the tellybuzz article is true, then Ragini may suffer a miscarriage. Did people forget about that for crying out loud? I mean, I agree, when the news first came out that Ragini may be pregnant, I too was disheartened because I thought Ranvir-Ragini are too young to experience that just yet, but still I looked forward to what the creatives had to offer with respect to that particular story line. Even at that time, I was appalled at how some fans wished that Ragini suffers a miscarriage just so they could see Ranvir comforting Ragini. I mean come on guys. I know this is just a show, a fabrication of someones imagination and not real life. But reel or real, wishing/hoping a miscarriage for anyone is the worst you could do.
Anywho, It seems the creatives thought of this themselves. I can't believe they may actually show this. I just wonder how that would completely break down Ragini- physically and mentally. You can replace many things that you have lost in your life again.But losing a child- I can not imagine what that means to an expectant mother. She is losing a life she is nurturing in herself. It would just shatter her completely.
And at such a delicate time, not to have your doting life partner at your side. That is simply incomprehensible. I wonder how she will be able to get out of the mental trauma. I mean there are people complaining on the forum, how Ragini should not 'misunderstand Sadhna' this time. But are you guys kidding me? At such an emotional and exhausting juncture in her life, do we really expect her to forgive her sister who may be responsible for sending her husband off to jail? Let me add that I am not for a free pass when the crime involves someones death. But this crime WAS committed to PROTECT Sadhna. Its not like Ranvir is some hard cold criminal with murder and blood on his hands. Its not like he was frolicking through the park one day and decided- hey lets kill someone. He did it to protect his Sadhna bhabhi- NOT for his merriment. And pray tell me, What is the entire objective to send someone off to jail? To correct a wrong behavior and to make sure the person understands his mistake. Do you guys mean to tell me, that from all that we have seen of Ranvirs character so far- he WON'T repent what he did? I just don't understand what the creatives will get out of sending him to jail, IMHO.
Anywhoo, sorry for the long rant. My heart just went out for Ragini when I read the TB news. IMO, Ragini is the most honest and real character in this show. I have seen her forsake her own Suhaag Raat- something which her and her doting hubby had been looking forward to -to talk about how shes sad about her sisters predicament. People talk about all the sacrifices that Sadhna has given. I don'e belittle what she has done. But I feel most of us forget what Ragini has done or is capable of doing. She is a very strong character and is depicted to be very real. Even the entire slap storyline- I kind of identified with Ragini. Having a sister myself, who I completely love may I add, I know for sure that I would be angry at her if she slapped my better half( this coming from me even though I am unmarried). Its about whats right and whats wrong. In a age where relationships hang by a delicate thread you can't slap a person and get away with it. I think that the fact that -Sadhna slapped Ranvir, AFTER she saw that Aalekh was fine and on his own two feet, with just a wound on his hand- was what made me support Ragini. Anyways, that story line was brought to a decent end by the creative with both sisters bonding and letting past mistakes go.
I just hope this continues in the future.
Edit: I know my views and arguments are pure speculation since the actual plot has not been carried out in the show yet. But since everyone here was posting their views based on pure speculation, I thought I am free to post my views too! :P
