That's how I feel when I think of Armaan & Bharti. Being such an ardent admirer of the two, it makes me so annoyed that they were so close to getting married....then Omkaar turns up....rang mein bhang daalne
Let me just state, I think it's great on the part of the writers to show us an insight into Armaan's past. And Shakti Anand is doing quite a good job. But I wish we didn't have the "humaar biwi" fiasco. Bringing him in to claim Bharti as his wife is a twist that I cannot digest.
Perhaps my liking for Bharti and Armaan has made me biased, but I strongly feel that the new chapter in Bharti's life would have made more sense if she had married Armaan. And considering he's the only one that has loved her with sincerity, why could she not take this new journey with him? Frankly, I'm terribly confused.
When we had that one hour special, I almost passed out after being treated to those wonderful Arbi moments. And I had to be revived when Bharti accepted Armaan's proposal 🥳 now we are back to square one 🥺
In that special episode, we finally got to see a side to Bharti that I for one, longed for. Being alone with Armaan made it much easier for her to open up and slowly begin to accept the identity she has tried to shun for so long. KK has said it, the Saadhu said it and to an extent Payal has also said that Bharti is a woman. She feels what every other woman feels, and wants what any other woman would want.
Bharti may stop short of openly saying that she is a complete woman. But that is what she exactly is. Otherwise, she would not have fully embraced Armaan after accepting his mariage proposal. Now, that was quite significant considering it was the first time. And the Sadhu may have told her that marrying such a man will give her the old identity. But I'm dead sure that somewhere there has been that longing to accept Armaan, which also played its part.
So, we got to see character development in Bharti. And charcter development means story progression. I was quite thrilled at it all and delighted that we were getting to see progression, rather than it being repetitive. But the idea of seperating Bharti and Armaan is plain stupid. I know full well that the story is not based entirely on the romance between them. But there is no denying that it has become a huge part of Bharti's life. And the Plus point of this love story is that it's not the typical daily serial romance and has freshness to it. Barring the Bhaskar-Bharti identity factor, Armaan & Bharti romance is very genuine and with a great deal of feeling.
Oh, I am dreading the possibility that Bharti may go to Omkaar *sigh* Well....after my ranting and raving and jibberish talk, if someone can make me a romantic Arbi siggy, it will ease the pain and I shall be very much indebted to you 😆 Please- please share your thoughts. Otherwise I will assume that my jibberish nonsense has put you all off!!
