heyyya bheegi...!!!
hmmm...u said unexpected twists and turns...but i never thought abt this ... armaan and riddhima...separated!!.. the perfect soul-mates...!!.. i mean how could that happen... i'm shocked and sad and heartbroken that it happend :(
but nevertheless the update was beautifully penned..their emotions.. struggles with the heart... their pehchans again was all wonderfully written...
i'm glad shashank and armaan have buried their differences... and abhi has become caring towards armaan... and whats the mentioning abt jia not being a riddhima... i mean ofcourse she isnt, she is a totally different personality ...
all of them doing extremely well in their careers and lives... just maybe not AR... their personal lives' in a state of tragedy... riddhima refusing to marry armaan... i understand that she didnt want commitment at such a stage of life but she could have explained it to him and not just walked out... i mean, armaan loved sooo much, he would have understood her situation...definitely he would... and armaan should have also not lost his cool but i understand his anger... he knows what it feels like to be humiliated in the society and i feel sorry for them both... two souls who love each other soo much, just caught in a whirl of unspoken misunderstandings...
a fabulous update...
like the way its moving forward...
looking forward to their milan now...
thanks a ton for the pm ;)

Di!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh.My.God....I soo knew something like this was coming.. Di...Yeh kyaa ho gaya??
I feel bad for Armaan, and the way he forgot all differences later than never towards Shashank is such an Armaan-y thing to do as well.. :) and i am really sad now, that's all i can say.. :(
But the part was splendidly written with all their Pehchaans n i am saying this again that everyone has come a long way, but they still have quite a bit to go.... :) It was superb di, all the emotions were portrayed so well, i could feel Armaan and Ridz's pain, and felt my eyes getting moist just the same... :(
I am glad everyone has found their Pehchaan... :) Abhi has changed, but Jiya is the right one for him...i agree she's no Riddhima, but she is the right one for him and i guess that is all that matters right?
Shashank and Padma have solved their differences too...But they all have a bit more of their Pehchaans to find...am I right???
And dii, i am soo sad about Dilip Mama's demise...I didn't want him to die.. :(
Anyway, right now, i don't think i am onto blaming anyone, or anything and neither am i taking sides, but shouldn't Ridz have said yes and then asked Armaan whether they could have waited? Anyway, that's just my take on things, so yeah ! I know that you have to install lots of t and t's but i still know that you're going to write an amazing make up part , and you'll remember me while doing so.. :P
Diiiiiii, my song.. :P
Anyway, you have something amazing in store for us, and i can't wait to see what it is.. :)
Cheers,
Update soon.. :)

Um, Heya bheegi di! :) I guess I'm commenting for the first time, but this part has literally forced me pen down my thoughts.
No one could have imagined that a story so smoothly heading towards it's grand finale would take such a sharp U-turn in it's last stages. Genuis stuff. I think I'll be the only one saying this, but I loved the twist. Consider the story from Ridhima's POV, she's just gotten her divorce, inspite of living seperately since a long time, the 'divorce' stamp confirmed her freedom. She's just stepped out of a messy relationship, a messy system, a messy institution, and stepping into a new one right away is not only difficult, it's impossible.
She has not even begun to scratch the surface of an independent, free life. What's the harm in wanting to relish a new lifestyle before walking right back into the institution she's just walked out of ? Had I been in Ridhima's place, I'd have lost all belief in the system of marriage after being through so much. For her, marriage has bought nothing but pain, betrayal, loneliness and hurt. It takes time for everyone to rebuild their inner strength and pick up the shattered pieces.
Yes, they consummated. So what ? Consummating does not put any couple under an obligation to marry. AR, as a couple, have discovered each other mentally and spiritually, and just because they've begun to discover each other physically aswell, does not mean that marriage is their only goal now. Being ready for sex is not equal to being ready for marriage.
I just want to say that I'm enjoying this new twist, and I'm extremely glad that Ridhima has finally carved a 'pehchaan' for herself. All her hardwork, sacrifice paid off. She deserves to be where she is today :) As for Armaan, I just hope that he'd stop being such a bubblehead and realize why she said No. He popped up the question just too early. She came all the way to attend his concert and the dude kicked her out. 😕
All in all, fab part! And I'm totally loving the twist ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Hi Sangeeta,

I haven't really commented to on this as I've just finished reading the entire ff and also read some of the comments from the latest part. Part 32 has seemed to have caused a bit of a debate. For me Riddhima from beginning to end has been one confused sole. When I was reading part 31 I had a feeling that she will refuse his proposal. I don't entirely blame her for the rejection but she could have dealt with it in a different mannerism. I understand that when love and passion takes over we do things which may seem stupid to the outsider and in the case of Riddhima the consummation was an act passion! This does not necessarily mean they'd have to get married. However Armaan's cannot also be blamed for the sudden proposal as this is the next expected step in a relationship, if they really understood each other as Ridz said they do or did, she would have realised Armaan's insecurity about their relationship not being legal in front of the society.

To an extent I agree with Nijal's point on Ridz's independence, if she really wanted to become independent she could have done it when she was with Abhi, I know its easier said than done but I believe there is always an option.

She had once said that she could do anything for him so why didn't she go back and talks things out with him, she did not put enough effort to rectify their relationship, Armaan was the one who always took the first step in their previous arguments. This is just my POV! I also did not like the way she said she did not promise anything about being married to him.

It was mentioned she went to Mumbai after their separation, and you indicated that something happened. I have two gusses for that; 1) she may have had a confrontation with Shanky or Abhi as I don't think they can ever completely change their character; 2) she may have been shocked to see that Armaan has moved in with the Modis (but I can't really picture this as she herself wanted him to reconcile with his dad). Thus the first reason seems more plausible!

I am going to stop here as my analysis getting quite long and I have so much to say, I don't want bore you. I am looking forward to more AR passion in the coming episode.

Very well written part 👏👏👏

You've portrayed the confusion beautifully. I would blame both of them in this condition though I don't want to fall in the debate. But yes, BOTH Armaan and Riddhima have been wrong here. Riddhima should have understood Armaan's insecurity and even Armaan should have understood Riddhima's plight when she doesn't want to get married so soon after going through a terrible one in her past. Both have their reasons to be right but at the same time both of them did wrong to each other.
I better stop here or I'll confuse you more. This is just my POV. Waiting for you to update and bring in more excitement.

hi bheegi,
thanks for the pm. this was a big bolt of lightening in pehchan land. let me begin by saying, this is so far my favorite part of this ff. needless to say, i loved reading through it. i read it a few times last night and then this morning, and i had so much to say. i think i've forgotten most of that but lemme recall..
all her life, she lived/suffered the consequences of other people's decision and now she is facing those borne off her own choices...
i liked how you described every character in detail and touched upon what happened in these two years and how each reflected upon their lives and the changes that took place. for me there were some remarkable changes, starting from when that coffee mug broke, their first serious fight (can i call it that?), armaan's reconciliation with his father's family which was a big turn for him but i do get a sense of something amiss there, the changes in padma, atul and anjali.the independant rahul and muskaan, looks like they came out of all this without a scratch. the second marriage of abhimanyu to jiah, somewhere something seems amiss, it was fairly evident in his para, he still has issues with armaan and his first wife. there seems to be a tale to go along with riddhima's reluctance to talk about what happened when she returned to mumbai a year later. i have a feeling, there is another twist here, related to shanky, abhi, armaan and even jiah which only you can reveal soon i'm hoping. all said, i still don't like shanky or trust abhi. jiah seems another mystery.
coming to ar- as i wrote in my brief comment for the last part, i feel both of their reactions are shaped by their individual past experiences and therefore it was all but natural that they were not seeing the same direction at this point. at the end of the day, no one is perfect, we are all humans and both armaan and riddhima, showed that in this part here. both made mistakes, gave in to passion- which again, i feel like there is nothing wrong with it, but the biggest issues was their past experiences that has moulded their thinking in such a huge way. armaan wanting to get married, he would know best the pain of growing up as an illegitimate child, without a father figure and seeing his mother suffer, and wouldn't want riddhima or his child to ever suffer the same fate.so his flaw, is in comparing his and riddhima's situation with damini and shanky. on the other other hand, i sympathasize with riddhima in her decision not to get married or even get into a formal commitment at that point given her failed marriage, the divorce that materialised only a day before, it was natural that she wanted to fly one time, without any shackles...doesn't an ididvidual who has been through so much deserve at least that much freedom?
we can argue that, she failed in her commitment to armaan by spurning his proposal and we can even argue that she could have done things differently. but like it does, things happen...and he made a mistake by asking her to leave in the middle of the night, she faced an unfortunate situation..and everything went from rosy to dark. may be she could have tried to reach out more to him afterwards, may be he could have tried to find her the next morning? looks like his genes kicked in at this point..but either way, both made mistakes, and now are living in sorrow. until they both realise the other's pov- and see where the other was coming from- i don't see them getting back togther. and then their pehchan, the quest will be finally complete..
but did i tell you, i loved this part.😃love the tension it has brought and the pain and craving. make it more, bring it on! so we can feel like a-r are finally at it. i hope no one hates me for asking that😆
and now i will stop, i feel like writing more but i fear you are probably getting bored with my rambling.😆
pleaseeeeeeeeee make the next update soon :)
