Off late, Katrina Kaif and Karan Johar have been spotted hanging out together at the GQ Awards and at Hrithik Roshan's birthday bash for his mother. Everyone is talking about their friendship.
A source says, 'Katrina and Karan get along pretty well. He also interviewed her at the HDIL Couture Week and she also hung out with him and SRK at Subhash Ghai's anniversary bash. It is most likely that Katrina has finally signed a Dharma film, Dostana 2.'
He continues, 'Katrina would be perfect for Dostana 2 as she is gorgeous and sexy and men, whether straight or not, just love her. And the movie focuses mainly on Abhishek and John's chemistry, the girl is there for the glamour factor. However, Katrina will be compared to Priyanka Chopra which is why she will have to do more than just strut around in Manish Malhotra's designs, pout and flutter her eyelids. She wants to work with Dharma because that will give her a chance to prove that she is more than just a pretty face. People are still talking about Kareena as Poo in K3G, Kajol as Anjali in KKHH and K3G and Rani as Maya in KANK. The film will be shot abroad and she will be an NRI which explains her accent. So Katrina will be quite comfortable doing the film.'
There were stories about SRK working with Katrina in a Yash Chopra film but it has fizzled out. Katrina has already worked in YRF's New York and her performance was appreciated.
About working with Karan Johar, Katrina said, 'Who wouldn't want to work with Karan? He thinks out of the box. He made the hilarious Dostana on one hand and the path-breaking Wake Up Sid on the other hand.'
