Rajinder Sethi is SUPERB! Hes a brilliant actor! As the supportive Dad, he sets an example to all parents who treat their daughters as burden, to be unloaded as fast as possible! I wish/hope/pray all parents in India follow his example!

wonderful topic dear..i did mention in sme other topic abt the dialogue tat rajinder says he will not sacrifice his daughter...tat was really touching!! he is such a brilliant actor n the way he potrays emotions r so real..im happy 2 say atleast apart wat we see 2day in other soaps rajinder luks/acts like a true or a real father wud do..tat makes him stand apart...

So true mehraan, he acts so wonderfully - just like a normal dad. Living in US I do miss my dad - and every time I hear Rajinder I remember my dad - and that is one of the main reasons I'm so hooked to the show.

I hope every parent (specially those who have a daughter) sees this episode - because it will remind them that society is not the most important element in life - but their daughter's happiness. And in a family, if one member is not happy - then no one is happy. There were just so many gems of wisdom in that episode - and if all fathers lived by those rules - no daughter would ever be forced to sacrifice herself again!
