Abhi does not know the reasons behind Simi's decision to marry RB. He does not know she is being blackmailed nor does he realize that she plans to marry RB so that her brother can marry Anita.
I am wondering WHEN and how the writers plan to reveal this information to Abhi. Also, will Abhi be able to convince his family to go ahead with the marriage of Anita and Anuj without Simi's marriage. If this matter can be resolved, then the father will tell her he will handle the closing down of his store.
Of course the best part would be the revelation of RB's past atrocities at the wedding. However, as an audience we do not want to be deprived of getting to see our hero Abhi rescue our damsel in distress Simi. After all as modern as we all are, there is nothing like a fairy story to bring a smile to our faces and the writers on this show are certainly doing a good job catering to that wish.
