I was going to have this done for your birthday and post all the parts all together, but sadly I haven't been able to finish it for you. I'm sorry, but I promise I'll try having it all done within the next few days 😊 I honestly hope you like this, because I do feel like it could be so much better. If you don't like any part of it though just be honest and let me know! 😳 I won't mind at all 😳 Anyways ily and I hope you always remember that.
She lay awake in her bed into the late night, wishing for her phone to ring. She knew though, that wishes don't always come true.
She was thinking about HIM, the boy who occupied her every thought. Their friendship had been going strong before these weird thoughts had popped up in her brain. The worst part was how confused it all made her. He was her friend and that was the only relationship they shared, but lately she found herself wishing there was something more between them. The only thing she knew and understood was that come what may, their friendship should stay intact.
As if God were listening, her phone started buzzing and she jumped up in bed, reaching over to grab the phone from its charger.
"Hello?"
"Hey Girly,"
Wishes came true after all.
She smiled to herself as she heard him say the special nickname he had for her. "Hey..."
"You sound tired. Were you sleeping?"
"Hmm no, I was awake."
"What were you doing?"
"Just because I was awake, does not mean I had to be doing something."
"Okay geez, you're feisty tonight."
"Nice observation," she replied sarcastically. "I was just thinking about some stuff."
"That means me right," he asked cheekily.
"Yes Farid, I have NOTHING better to think about than you,"
"Knew it," He replied back.
She rolled her eyes in response before smiling. "Why'd you call?"
"I was bored."
"Oh? So I only get called when you're bored?" She shook her head. "And here I thought I was more than just a source of entertainment."
"You are'but at the moment, boredom was my mood and I knew only you could change that." Farid whispered.
She shook her head waiting to hear the comment she knew was at the top of his lips. "Say it,"
"Say what?" He asked.
"Whatever you were going to say..."
"I said what I was going to say," he replied in a confused tone.
"There is something seriously wrong with you," she sighed before smiling.
"There is nothing wrong with me thank you for much." He retorted. "Besides'"
She heard footsteps approaching her room and cringed. "Hold on someone's coming." She threw her phone under the pillow the minute the door opened.
"Rubina! Thank god you're awake!"
"It's 3 in the morning Shabo, of course I'm awake," Rinki yawned before sitting up on her bed. Suddenly she noticed the worried look on her sister's face and frowned. "What's up?"
"I'we're eloping." Shabo grimaced.
"We're what?" Rinki's mouth nearly hit the floor.
"Not we!" Shabo groaned before sitting down next to Rinki after shutting the door. "Me and Vikki."
"What? When did this happen?" Rinki stood up and gaped at Shabo who shrugged. "Last I remember you two weren't even speaking to each other!"
Shabo shrugged. "You know our fights."
Rinki shook her head. "I'm shocked."
Shabo rolled her eyes. "Are you coming or not?"
"Coming?" Rinki frowned. "Where are you going?"
"If you're coming. We're going to Vegas! Can't have my only sister not being my bridesmaid could I?" Shabo got up and started packing some of Rubina's clothes into a backpack.
"Are you serious?" Rinki still stood in the same spot.
Shabo shook her head. "Seriously Rinkz, let's go! I want to leave before mom or dad wake up!"
"How are we getting to the airport?" Rinki asked, finally springing into action, grabbing a book and her iPod. "The garage door is so loud."
Shabo grinned. "Vikki's outside,"
"You've thought of everything haven't you?" Rinki smiled.
"Everything except the fact that I'm making the biggest decision of my life on a whim." Shabo cringed.
"Are you happy?" Rinki asked. "Does he make you feel the way you've always imagined?"
After a few moments Shabo nodded. "He does."
"Then what are you waiting for?" Rinki smiled. "We're off to Vegas."
"Yeah'let me grab my stuff. Don't make any noise!" Shabo glared at Rinki before leaving the room.
Rinki scrimmaged around for her phone and quickly put it to her ear. "Did you hear?"
"Every word," Farid answered, sounding as surprised as Rinki. "I can't believe she's your YOUNGER sister either."
Rinki sighed. "Yeah, I just hope she knows what she's doing."
"She's smart; anyways I'll meet you at the airport."
"What?" Rinki collapsed on the bed. "You're what?"
"I'm coming with you."
"Slight problem Farid."
"And what's that Girly?"
"You're not invited."
Farid sighed. "Rubina, you do realize that once they get married they are going to forget about you? What are you going to do then? Sit alone in your hotel room in Vegas?"
"I highly doubt that having YOU with me is going to make a difference to my parents, when we explain." Rinki grinned.
"We'll deal with that later. I'll meet you at the airport. Bye." Farid hung up then and Rubina glanced down at her phone, surprised at how only 20 minutes ago she was aching for some excitement in an otherwise boring day and now, now things were definitely exciting. Good or Bad? Still to be determined.
