Mani Ratnam cuts Govinda out of a scene!

Govinda's usual habit of coming late on the sets of "Raavan" and keeping the other stars waiting disappointed director Mani Ratnam to such an extent that he shot a scene without the actor.

According to sources, Mani was to shoot the scene with Govinda, Abhishek and Aishwarya. But Govinda could not reach the sets on time and made Abhi, Ash and Mani wait for a very long time.

Mani could not take this any longer and immediately improvised the script. And lo, he deleted the portions with Govinda and went ahead with the shooting.

When Govinda walked in, he apologised to the director, but Mani was in no mood to forgive. He reportedly snapped back at Govinda and told him that he wasn't required for the scene anymore.
