Great explanation Vibhishna!👏

I'd also like to add that Yudhistir was known as Dharmaraja (not only because he always followed Dharma, but because he was the son of Yama Dharmaraja) and Bhima was also known as Pavan Putra. They were referred to as the Pandavas, because it was easier than referring to each of them by their different fathers' names, and also because like Vibhishna said, Pandu thought of them as his own sons and not any differently.
Also, I think Hanuman is referred more as Vayu Putra because Vayu Deva played a greater role in his life than Kesari, but he is also referred to as Kesari Nandan from time to time.

Hey Vibs, how can we ever forget you? Thanks for the wonderful explanation. 👏👏👏

Vrisha, more questions please. One thing I learned from the Ramayan forums. The more questions or comments Vrishna asks or makes, the more everyone learns because it forces us to do research. 😃

Claps to Vrisha 👏

Next question is location of Kishkindha. So, where it is? Hampi, Karnataka?

Hampi is correct. Very near the ruins of Vijayanagar.

Hanuman's birthplace in this video is put at Anjanadiri Hills, @ 1:20. They also show Rishimukh Parvat, and other such places in the video. Nothing like the glitz we saw in the serial 😆😆😆

Similar to this, there are some other videos of Rama's trail in Lanka. I've posted this in the Ramayan forum, under the once prolific 'Doubts & Discussions' thread that someone unstuck.

Hanuman's birthplace is in Karnataka? I always thought the Pampa sarovar and Kishkinda were in Kerala for some reason. Well, live and learn.

about a year ago I saw on national geographic the evolution of mankind. If I watch this show.. it strongly reminds me of it. On NG they said that it was highley possible that not all the tribes evoluated at the same time. But they all lived together on the planet, and sometimes even on the same continent. It makes me proud that our religion is based on the evolution and in someway accepting it..

And I really like the way the monkey/human faces are portrayed... 😃
