The Sajan confession - highlights

This is my first ever topic - please do comment - but be kind!

Warning: read at your own risk - this is a long one! I'm jobless this weekend ... and it shows!

The Morena track from SG point of view - selected scenes and dialogues I loved which IMO add up to the whole 'confession'.
Plz add more if you like
Comments are strictly my own opinions!

Oct 5^th ' Pillar scene and DDLJ rip off

Pillar scene

Best dialogue ' Samrat ' how did I not realize earlier? We wasted so much time when we could have been with each other.

👏 (loved the expression on his face in this one - the regret, the longing)

DDLJ rip off scene (first real romantic SG scene)

Gunjan ' Samrat? Is it really you?

Samrat: (No words, takes her hand to his face)

Oct 6^th ' DDLJ continued

Best dialogues '

Gunjan ' Dia ' Uday bhaiyya, ' all are here .. it's nice '

Samrat (runs his hand down side of her face) ' I'm not talking about everyone. I'm only asking about myself.

(Gunjan's thoughts ' 😕 now what? I thought he said no already. He's even more confused than I am.)

Best dialogue 2:

Samrat ' that's the problem between us, Chashmish. We think too much, we talk very little ' and maybe ' we don't listen to each other at all .

(This was a beautiful dialogue ' except that it must have confused the wits out of Gunjan ' 'talk very little' ' what more is she supposed to say, but then the 'don't listen to each other at all' should give her a clue!)

Oct 8^th

SG Candlelit scene '

Finally the confusion about Gunjan's confession is out of the way!

Best dialogues

Gunjan ' if you want anything, Samrat, you can tell me.

Samrat ' I'm here with you, Chashmish. There is nothing more I want.

😍 (Okay, girl, why haven't you just melted right away here?!)

Best dialogue 2:

Gunjan: did you get my letter?

Samrat (looks away, sighs) ' your letter. Yes, I got it. I read it too.

Gunjan: then you can understand '

Samrat (interrupts): no, Chashmish, I can't understand. That's why I've come all the way from Mumbai to Morena.

(Just loved his expression when he said this. Amazing ' serious to the core, intense, all fun and jokes gone, he's dead serious about this and he is going to find out why she's gone so far away from him).

9^th Oct ' Terrace scene, Nupur's story.

Progress ' Gunjan a little more at ease in Samrat's presence now she knows he didn't hear her confession. Loved the stealing looks at each other throughout the story telling, a slight smile is back in her face for the first time after she saw him in Morena.

Dialogue:

Samrat: so Nupur, any boy can declare his feelings to the girl he loves on this day?

Nupur: yes, and if she says yes, their love story is set for life.

Samrat and Gunjan steal looks at each other again. 😳 😳 😳

12^th Oct '

Very cute SG scenes!

1^st ' continuation of terrace scene. Samrat all but confesses here, asks Gunjan are you waiting for tomorrow as much as I am?

Gunjan (wary): yes, everyone likes festivals '

Samrat: are you waiting only because of the festival?

Gunjan (even more wary, uncertain): y ' yes

Samrat: you're lying, Chashmish. You're waiting for tomorrow for another reason, not just because it's a festival.

Gunjan (looks away, looks down. Samrat moves down so that she has to look at him).

Samrat (meaningfully): so we'll meet tomorrow, Chashmish. Sweet dreams.

😍

(Come on, she's entitled to dream a bit after this! How much more obvious can he get? And how much longer can they manage to hold back their feelings?)

2^nd ' another DDLJ rip off. Earrings scene. Not a word spoken. Loved the shy smile on her face at the end when he signals he loves her earrings. These are going to be her favorite earrings forever!

Bui kabab mein haddi ' hehe, stammering Samrat was a sight zipping and unzipping his shirt! Bui out of sight, promptly he gets back to flirting. And you wonder Bui doesn't like you, Samrat?! The best part was that Gunjan doesn't seem to mind his flirting at all, even enjoying it a bit ' see the smile she gives when he says that outrageously OTT line about the chand ' she knows that's him, his style, she's not taking it very seriously, just enjoying it!

3^rd ' SG with Benji Uday Dia ' laughing at Dia, Gunjan glares at Samrat and the smile is wiped off his face - he obediently goes to cheer up Dia. Seems like shy timid Gunjan is wearing the pants in this relationship! 😃

4^th- totally OTT scene ' cringeworthy entrance of guys. Girls should have got the drum roll, they looked much better! As for the cheesy dialogues ' less said the better! The only part I liked was Gunjan wondering whether she was overdressed and what HE would think! He's not going to think that, so it's fine, sweetheart! He thinks you're perfect, remember?

13^th Oct-

SG temple scene

Gunjan wondering what's happening to her ' nope, she's not talking about her feelings, she knows about those!!! But why is she letting Samrat flirt with her so blatantly and doing absolutely nothing to stop him!

Best dialogue

Gunjan: Samrat please ' it's a temple (don't flirt here at least)

Samrat (pretty serious now): am I doing anything wrong, Chashmish? (it's not just flirting for him)

Gunjan (again) Samrat please '

Samrat: why are you saying please, Chashmish? (oh boy, melting tones!) Is it because you don't want me to say it, or because you don't want to hear it?

Last one:

Samrat: pray Chashmish, that today I can say what I want to, put into words what I feel, to the most special person in my life. 😳 😍 😳

You think they still need a confession after this??!!!

14^th Oct

Barn scene

Best dialogue (hands down)

Gunjan: let me go.

Samrat: that has been my only mistake, Chashmish. You always said let me go ' and I did. Not any more.

(Jeez girl, not only did you not melt, you managed to run!
Well, good for her - he had to stop her, so he had to say it! Like he said - he wasn't going to let her go anywhere any more.)

Barn scene post fireworks ... the external ones 😆
Surprisingly the barn didn't catch fire with all the sizzling looks ... else we'd have had fireworks inside the barn as well.

Dialogues (struggling to remember past those looks ... ah yes ...)

Samrat: so why didn't you say anything earlier?
Gunjan (normal straight talking Gunjan back): I did ... but maybe my voice didn't reach you.

(Sweetheart, you never spoke a truer word! Blame those fancy earphones! Makes me hopeful that some flashbacks are going to surface in due course)

you got those sensational scenes exactly right...... my heart was racing as I read the highlights and remembered Samrats expressions all over again!!

Wow !! A great analysis of the Sajan confession higlights hun !! The whole Morena track from the start has been amazing and very special for SG !! We couldnt have asked for sa better track or a confession !! 😆

naveen, true, this track has been great. It hasn't dragged, all the scenes have been meaningful and have carried the story further, and the dialogues have been amazing 😃 . Not to forget - the acting has been fabulous ... can't wait to see what happens next!
