Crores? She was paid 3000 rupees per episode (or maybe it was day of shooting) the first year of BMTD. SD deserve so much more than they got from these producers. Trust me, she might have earned a good deal by now, but she's not filthy rich to spend 42 lakhs on a whim.

LOL she definately wasn't earning in the crores. It wasn't even in lakhs 😔 They were stingy people!! But I'm sure she will earn in crores one day! She deserves to!

I knew she was offered RS 3000 per episode but I think that was revised some time later. I don't know the new figure though, but I feel she is an excellent,talented,honest actress.I totally agree that she deserves much more and am just waiting for the day when she would be known not just by us who love to watch her on small screen but by mass Indians and many people worldwide and that is possible when she would become big star! I wish that day will come soon!! Aameen.
