Well, it certainly has been a while since I posted something..........stupid internet problem, wasn't allowing me to post anything for the last week.
Anyways, this isn't an analysis as such, I just needed to get this out of the way.
Angad's look last night as he stood in the audience watching his wife perform for his enemy, pierced right through my heart. Angad's look was one of shock & betrayal to see Kripa determined to go ahead with her show, in an attempt to ruin him, in order to save the person he hates the most in the world.
But that's not what got to me. It was the utter devestation seeing the woman he loves beyond rhyme or reason, the woman he loves with his every breath on that stage. I believe that had Kripa been performing for anyone else in the world, it would not have affected Angad as much as seeing her sing....and dedicating a song to the person who stole everything from him......it was a fatal blow to Angad.
Kripa herself wasn't unaffected by Angad's presence in the audience......she hadn't expected to see him there, and what she was doing hurt her, even though she isn't willing to admit it........her single tear is a testemanet to just how much she hates hurting him.
We've always said this, but once again yesterday, it struck me that as much as Angad says he hates Kripa, as much as he says he wants revenge, when it comes to it, at the most elemental level of his heart and soul, he never expected her to hurt him the way she did yesterday.
Kripa is in the same boat.......as much as she may claim that Angad is not important to her anymore, that he is dead to her, her soul cries at what she is doing to him. Perhaps she herself, never expected to feel pain at seeing Angad hurt, after what had transpired between them over the last few days.
However, we can't play the blame game in this, because if we are to blame Kripa for what she is doing, then we have to look at what Angad has done to her so far........sure Kripa had been planning this since before the night that Angad forced himself on her, but she still believes that Angad is in the wrong.....that Prithvi is the best thing that has happened to her, and though it might be a small consolation for some, Kripa will suffer when she learns that the person she trustd more than her life and her love, has betrayed her in the most ultimate level.
Prithvi is just being himself.........his own psychotic, machiavellian self.........he is an insecure person who can't bear to stand in Angad's shadow when it comes to Kripa, he can't stand the fact that despite everything he has done, Angad has come up trumps.....Angad has survived.....battle worn and wounded, yet survived Prithvi's scheming none the less.
As for Karthik, he's goody-goody act just doesn't sell with me. A leopard doesn't change its spots that easily. Seeing him come to Kripa's defense yesterday immediately had my hackles rising at his antics......I can clearly see an ulterior motive.........to cause a bigger rift between Angad and Kripa, thus hurting Angad more, in the process. I would like to be wrong on this, because it would be nice to see Karthik truly repent......after all, his mean streak is due to him being neglected by his parents, and if he can really change, he could find it in his heart to put aside all bitterness towards Angad and move on to prosper.
We all know that Angad and Kripa both have a stubborn streak that runs a mile long, and it is this stubborness that has landed them in these positions numerous times. I can only hope that in the days to come, when Angad is once again willing to sacrifice his life for Kripa's happiness, that Kripa sees how much Angad suffers for what he did to her, and once Prithvi's true colours are revealed and Kripa runs to Angad of her own free will, that they can put all their sorrow and hatred aside, and work to making their relationship grow from strenght to strenght.
Phew.........this was longer then I expected. I hope I didn't bore anyone with my ramblings.
