A few instances:
1. Manav's rishta with Archana starts off with lies thanks to his aai. *He doesn't do anything to make Savita realise her mistake; ^still worse, he was going to get on with those lies if it wasn't for his kaka telling him off.
3.Then comes the Ajit chapter. He gets hold of the pimp, chances on the key evidence to put the stinker (Ajit) behind bars. Then he eavesdrops on the conversation between Ajit and Rasika to be 100% sure. What does our hero do next? ^^Manav decides that it is the most opportune moment to deliver some lectures! Ajit gets on the alert and turns the tables on him.
4. **And finally, when Archana leaves after the last big drama (Satyanarayan pooja), he vows to prove himself innocent only to brood, sulk and sob for the last one month.
I am not here to prove how much I hate Manav -- in fact I like him. I feel for him. His goodness easily outweighs all his weakness. I am just frustrated that now these wretched soap makers have started applying their rotten formula to the male leads as well!
The formula: aadarsh and mahaan = weak, meek and foolish.
*Manav is weak
^Manav is foolish
