Most overrated actors/actresses

Who do you feel is the most overrated actors/actresses in Bollywood?

For me, it would be undoubtedly Katrina Kaif. She may be good looking, but looks alone is not sufficient to get through one's acting career (excluding her performance in New York). Same goes for Preity Zinta - glad that she's not visible these days (she did a good job in KANK and DIl Se though). And then comes Aishwarya Rai. I don't feel she is a great actress. Granted she looks magnificient, but as far as her acting skills are concerned, it needs to be imporved a lot.

For actors, I would say Shahid Kapoor.

Shahid Kapoor I dont think is overrated elsewhere as much as on IF, so I dont think he is overrated, he has definetly matured as a actor since JWM and followed that up fantastically well with Kaminey. Quite a contrast to his earlier cringeworthy movies.

Shahid is a good enough actor to do credible work, provided his script sense remains intact. DBH was a horrendous choice, esp since it came after Kaminey!

Also the 'actor' Shahid Kapoor is hardly talked about really, its always more about his onscreen pairings, which are grossly overrated!

Shahid is not overrated. But his lunatic fans are to be blamed for him gaining that tag. They keep buzzing on and on about his IMHO nonexistencial looks and render him vapid when he's actually decent. The guy will do a very good job if given the right script and good direction. Kaminey was a good watch due to his acting because the screenplay was poor and dragged in certain parts IMHO.

I'm on the fence about Aishwarya and Priety because they're both OTT and ham thier way through in candyfloss flicks but are actually pretty decent in thier subtle roles. My favorite Aishwarya/Priety movies are ones where they play serious/subtle roles.


Katrina Kaif isn't overrated as an actress. Most people actually think she can't act. But yes she is definitely an overrated starlet. She can barely even mouth her dialogues off right.



Who I think is overrated? Hrithik Roshan. OR maybe Jodha Akbar scarred me for life. 😡

Easiest question ever and the easiest answer ever, Katrina Kaif . I wont even try to explain why she's overrated, I'm tired of doing that 😆. Cant even understand why she's around, she has no charsima whatsoever.

all the new hunks and starlets, so much hype and so early on in their career. They need to display their talent in a varitiy of roles - just because your part of a big-budget film or advertising every soap, gum, watch, drink on the market doesn't make you an actor/actress

for me i think Aishwarya rai is very overrated we know she is da worlds most beautiful girl but she cant act!!!
