Anuj might leave Bebo
Anuj Sachdev, who plays Amrit in Sabki Laadli Bebo, says it has been getting difficult for him to shoot for the show as the atmosphere on set has become unpleasant.
The reason for this is that the parents of Shivshakti, who plays Bebo, are unhappy with Anuj's growing closeness to their teenage daughter and are giving him a lot of flak for it.
Says the actor, "I don't know who is spreading all these stories about me. I was on such good terms with uncle and aunty but they have suddenly stopped talking to me, and then I heard about all this."
Anuj tells us his side of the story: "I had no such intention of going close to her, I know that there is huge age difference between us. It is normal when you shoot with someone every day that you become close friends but there was nothing more than that. However they have this misunderstanding and I even told the production house to look into the matter."
So Anuj now tried to avoid interacting with Shivshakti, but says, "When you are doing scenes, it is unavoidable. We play a husband and wife in the show and need to have some chemistry. The other day when I was doing an emotional scene, I had to hug her and cry. After I shot for that scene, they said that I deliberately did retakes of that scene."
It is becoming increasingly uncomfortable for Anuj during shoots. "I am keeping quiet as I do not want to spoil my image. This is not the right time to leave the show, because it still has to achieve its deserved success. When it reaches the top I will quit because it is better to do so when your show is doing well so that no one can blame me for it."
