Increasing Sudha's confidence

So basically Sudha wanted to become Devika so that she could be confident and beautiful, which would also make her successful

Actually, this is how Devika started when she decided to do Sudha over. First she checked the wardrobe, dismissed Sudha's preferred clothes w/ disdain, and picked the finest miniskirts she could see there. Then looted whatever jewellery she could find, and then made her way to the disco.

But Jyoti wasn't much more of a fashion queen than Sudha, so she's probably the wrong person to suggest clothes to her. In fact, no one is. Maybe Jyoti could start w/ Devika's clothes, work back to something Sudha might be comfortable with (say skirts, but good length, and also half-sleeve, as opposed to sleeveless. Then maybe Sudha would be just fine.

I also agree that Sudha is not likely to recover while she's at home. Outwardly, she may be very deferential to Padma and all, but internally, reason she became Devika was to get away from it all, and towards Uday. If Sudha is going to stay w/ Padma, I'd rather see her become Devika right there enough times that they all start fearing her, instead of the other way around. Sudha doesn't become Devika just because she doesn't feel beautiful - she becomes Devika when she feels cornered and threatened. (Incidentally, if at the dandiya, looking at Uday brought back flashes of Devika, how come that didn't happen today when she saw Ronnie Pande, who only Devika saw, but Sudha never did, unlike in the case w/ Uday?)
