Welcome to JP (and others) Paradise!

This is a joint FC for the other characters of Sanjeevani including, Shashank, Padma, Nana, Sister Lovely, Minnie and Gappu but mainly JP.

Prasad Bharve

As:

Jitendra Prasad (JP)

Prasad Barve is a talented Marathi actor who has acted in films such as Vishwavinayak and other TV shows such as Shree.

He brings in the comic quotient to DMG, playing a city topper from UP who thinks he is the hero of the place and unaware of the fact that other people just think of him as a 'Maha Chipku'! His very virtue of being a walking talking disaster adds more fun elements to the show. It's his innocence & sweet nature which stands out the most.

Other Characters:

Dr. Shashank:

Played by renowned actor Mohnish Behl who has acted in many other shows and hit films such 'Hum Saath Saath Hai' and 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' to name a few.

Padma Gupta:

Previously played by Shilpa Tulaskar the role was taken over by Mohnish Behl's real life wife Ekta Behl.

Nana (Mr. Deshpande)

Played by Mahesh Jadhav. Mr. Deshpande, nicknamed Nana by the interns because of his striking resemblance to the popular Bollywood actor Nana Patekar, entered Sanjeevani as a patient with a severe throat infection (which didn't stop him yelling his heart out just like his Bollywood counterpart 😆), bringing with him endless laughs and hilarious moments.

Sister Lovely:

A sweet if sometimes ditzy nurse who works behind the nurses desk. Has had 'crushes' on almost every doctor in Sanjeevani 😛.

Minnie:

Played by Swini Khara of 'Cheeni Kum' fame amongst many others.

Fondly known as Armaan's 'girlfriend'. Minnie was first shown in DMG as a cancer patient who (later on) left Sanjeevani to be treated at a hospital in London. She made a special appearance in the show a while back.

Gappu:

From Lonavla Orphange, Gappu originally entered Sanjeevani with Appendictis, which become more and more complex as time went on 😆.
