This quote by the father in today's real life story really touched me. It provides so much hope. It was said so casually and simply by that man but I can't seem to forget it. I think it provides hope for all parents with autistic children as well as just about anyone with any problems in their life. I guess it's all about understanding the children with autism. As you grow to understand them and their world better, both the children and the parents can interact and bond better. I think recovery and 'getting better' of an autistic child in part means that people can understand his/her world while the child can understand the world outside. This allows the child to interact and get along with his/her surroundings better and the parents/ other people to interact with the child. So it is in part a learning experience for both the children and the parents, I think. And if the child and the world around them both ultimately cooperate and understand each other, toh kal toh acha kaisse na ho. 😳
